Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I can't get my wallet to sync or download the chain at all..
I've opened the ports on my router (as I've done with other altcoins)
I've created the conf file and added all nodes manually that I could find in threads...

see below:

Code:
testnet=0
listen=1
daemon=1
maxconnections=100
server=1
rpcuser=####################
rpcpassword=############################
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=9918
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=24.242.16.87
addnode=113.162.172.159
addnode=77.110.45.131
addnode=84.253.197.96
addnode=205.209.78.176
addnode=14.160.68.206
addnode=50.9.87.185
addnode=196.209.236.114
addnode=124.189.3.206
addnode=99.246.40.37
addnode=24.3.200.97
addnode=194.141.41.234
addnode=64.251.188.62
addnode=76.0.138.31
addnode=75.64.60.93
addnode=156.34.53.169
addnode=190.244.85.111

copy and add them to your luckycoin.conf, and restart your wallet.

I feel lucky today, I started solo since last night and just dig out my first 588 block this morning right after a normal 88 block Cheesy Cheesy

well, I'm kinda on the fence right now because right now the value of LKY is almost identical to MEM, but the profits are better with MEM, however, LKY is gaining value faster ...

LKY values are misrepresented quite a bit on coinchoose as there is no negative LKY block

http://lky.scryptmining.com/ still up and kicking too, since launch.  Don't think there are many pools left!  Glad to see some more activity in this thread.  We peaked around 50Mh/s earlier today, though seems to have died down again since.

Fun coin to mine Smiley

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

This pool is still there since the first day of LuckyCoin:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8116 -u yourLKYaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8116. This pool uses a PPLNS payout scheme, and is stratum enabled. The PPLNS window is set to only one hour. You will get quickly the expected payout.
