Hello all,

I fixed this problem at one point.... now having it again.  The gpu usage when mining continually jumps from 64 to 100 suggestions?

I tried:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

i had the same problem with my 7870 xt's.  i needed to fine tune my config to get them to be stable.  You;'re probably overclocked too much, you might have you men set to low without using Afterburner configured properly or you'r heat is too high.  I had a combination of all three of these until i got my cards running right. Now 100% gpu load all the time  Smiley

are you using cg miner? drop into the GPU submenu and copy the GPU data there here so we can see it's settings?

I once noticed that my GPU usage started to oscillate between 80 and 100 percent (like a sine wave).

Because of all the alt-coin frenzy I had 3 clients running in server mode (powercoin-qt, ... xyzcoin-qt).

I guess that was too much for my tiny AMD Athlon II X2 270 CPU  Cheesy

Once I stopped those clients GPU usage was stable at 100%.

can you post your GPU settings so we can see if there is something that seems to be off?

ok, good luck, if you still run into issues a simple screen shot of CGminer showing the settings of the GPU having the problem can help.
