For me there two kinds of sin the mortal sin and venial sin. If we disobey the ten commonments of God that is mortal sin. And vineal such as white lies cheating backbites.

there are two types of sins and these are mortal sin and venial sin. mortal sin is when you disobey the law of God. venial sin is just a minor sin where there are times that it is being done without the consciousness of the people doing the act. Sins are for the one giving in to temptations.

In religion, much like in a society, there is a set of laws that govern it. These laws dictates ones actions and thoughts. This also bears the foundation of it's society and principle.
