I think that in Equador, bitcoin mining is illegal and in bangladesh too, where bitcoin has been banned.

Iceland has taken some strong actions against bitcoin, but still it has not made mining illegal.

China is now expected to announce bitcoin mining as illegal since it is taking severe actions against bitcoin.

Russia too could declare bitcoin mining as illegal as its president putin has taken a strong stand against bitcoin.

I know mining is promising a lot of income that used some hardware. But we must know that if someone online using same IP will wear banned. So, the problem is illegal or legal how person violates provisions or not already applied in bitcoin.

I don't think so. A lot of people in my country and in the bitcoin community as well are mining. However, there are some factors that makes bitcoin mining illegal. Such as when you are mining inside a company that is not your own, then we can consider it illegal.

I don't want say that mining is illegal. Because you are not breaking any laws (at the moment). Problem is that mining is not globally regulated and monitored.
Only my opinion.

But if you pay electricity bill/fee to company could it be "legal" ?

Bitcoin mining is totally legal in most of the part of the world. But there are a few countries where there are some rules that say bitcoin mining is illegal.
Bitcoin is illegal or legal? This discussing have made so important facts to come out. There are reasons, the reasons of governments, the reasons of bitcoin’s features and much more. So wherever in the world, if bitcoin as a general is claimed illegal then trading,, investing and mining are illegal too. So yeah we have to be hopeful for the better time come along.

Every country has its own rules on every thing. Why should one you care about it even if it illegal. We know the benefits of BTC. How supportive it is to us. Many here are really becoming free without debts. When the govt does not support, bitcoin supports in clearing out basic issues.

It is legal to have equipment and done what is legal. Getting money illegally - Unconstrained by law is illegal. This is illegal if you receive money and pay no tax. It turns out that mining is legal, but money can be illegal (depending on the law of the country) .. I think

It may be illegal to some countries who banned bitcoin, but in some areas like America and Europe, I don't see cases people who are charge with illegal mining, because national governments that have not outlawed bitcoin, have not passed laws regarding bitcoin mining, Globally, with only a few exceptions, bitcoin mining is generally considered as legal.

Bit get introduced to the world in 2009.
There are still differences in the countries for accepting it as a legal tender or not.
Economically developed countries have already accepted bitcoin as a currency so mining and related activities are legal there.
Countries like USA have the highest number of cryptocurrency users.
Bitcoin mining is legal in Denmark, Sweden, Nederland, Finland,Canada,United Kingdam, Japan, Australia and even in South Korea.
However countries like Vietnam, Iceland,Bolivia, Equador,Bangladesh are still not accepted or declared it as a legal tender.
In india many bitcoin exchanges, mobile wallets are operating, mining is also done but Central bank is warning citizens against any kind of bitcoin trade.
It is possible that these countries may eventually change their stance on Bitcoin and digital currencies in future.

My answer is a big now for that mining in not illegal but it depend on the place and method you are doing mining. If you have your own system and your own area and you are paying electricity bills then its not illegal. Many people including bitcoin community are doing mining and getting a lot of profit also.

in many developing countries, governments and legal authorities do not even understand what cryptocurrencies are leave alone mining. I think with time it will become more mainstream. It is no illegal just not regulated and i don' know if regulation is possible

I know mining is a great source of earning bitcoin with some hardware stuff but i am not sure about one thing is mining is illegal in all country ? Like in my country mining is not  legal i just wanted to know why its not considered as legal work ?

Different countries have different laws for different reasons. Impossible to tell without knowing what country you're in.
