Bitcoing is illegal where I live. But guys have a question. Is bitcoin mining still viable? Or altcoin is more profitable? According to what I know bitcoin mining is almost completed. What's your opinion?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. EWallets are like banks -- a central organization has complete control over your money. You shouldn't put much money in EWallets.

It depends from country where u mine
Which the OP has still never said.
Without saying where they are is like asking everyone here, 'will it rain today'?

-Joshua Zipkin aka Joshua Alexander leaked AMT A1 miner skype chats http://bit.ly/1Qjt6lj
-For bitcoin to succeed the community must police itself.

Mining Bitcoin and it's legality depends upon the country it is is. Bitcoin can be used for legitimate uses, I got my BTC to FIAT debit card today for example, it can also be used for illegal activities thereby 'tainting' the coins and making them used for a bad cause? I think maybe the main point with mining is if you cross a certain threshold and coins starts becoming an income or investment, there will probably be some tax to pay on it, depending upon your tax status.

It seems to me that the government doesnt care about miners in our days. But in the future their role will increase and the miners will even encourage or even legitimize them.

Unfortunately, it's illegal in Venezuela. The government has banned Bitcoin mining and citizens who are caught mining are being prosecuted. It's really sad as many folks have resorted to mining because their national currency has decreased in value so much that many of them are unable to survive on their salaries alone. Out of desperation, they have turned to mining, even though they now face prosecution many are still mining because they simply can not afford to live without mining.

Ya true buddy. In some countries the mining of bitcoin is still offence. They were arrested if they involved in mining so.But in my country, mining of bitcoin is legal. So I had started mining with solar panels and gained many dollars. Even I was working in Signature Campaign to earn some more bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin mining is a legal process done by the miners to make successful and fair bitcoin transactions.
When someone makes any kind of purchase or transaction by bitcoin a block-chain grows until there are any block.
Miners get together and computations to verify the block-chain are done through all the transactions on the block.

Depends country to country. As we can now see china has gone wild with its regulations and they are now having bitcoin as illegal. So it's impossible to mine in china now and miners might have gone wild too.

Anyway, I believe in most of the country bitcoin is legal to mine and you can get more information from the legal advisor.

Got a new idea. Mining can be cost effective if used on solar energy. But have to know if mining is legal or not or I can get in to trouble for it.
