Its an early sign of addiction maybe? If you know you have something very important to do and just set it aside to gamble is clearly an early sign of an addiction. Just don't let it take your job away, gambling for profit is good but don't let it take away the main source of your income.

Honestly I have never been late from work or school ever even if its due to gambling or not because before I only gamble after work, and that is every after work then I got to a point of realization that it was not healthy for me because I sometimes forget to eat or even drink water and would gamble almost the whole night and didn't get much sleep. Though I was never late, my work became sloppy and I become irritated.

I did lose a lot of time because of gambling and when I'm not still in bitcoin gambling I used to gamble with my friends. We are playing poker before classes but of course in a private place where no one will notice us with our school uniforms since it is prohibited to gamble while in uniform. And many times we became late for our classes and subjects and I just noticed by that time we are all addicted gamblers. But that took for a couple of months and we are counselled by the school guidance counselor and luckily everything went back to normal.

No, I think i have managed well my time between gambling and work. I only gamble when i'm going home with my mobile. If you want to avoid that you must do a time management because it might result in addiction if you don't prevent yourself from too much gambling. Time management is the key only gamble when you have free time. Don't let gambling take over your life and your time.

Yes I did it when I was on college, I played online tournament poker till 3am and it made me woke up too late for an exam. Unluckily I got the chance to do  the exam on other day and another lucky thing was that I won 2nd place on the tournament with a decent prize.

I never did such things so far. I only gamble when I got some free time. If one is doing like what OP mentioned in his thread means more or less addicted to the games and need special attention to come out of these addiction habits. I also know some people spend whole night playing the games and come office with a very tired face.

fortunately not with the new me , i was an addict few years ago where my weekends time that supposed to spent with my family all gone to gambling , i have got sacked from work because of too much skip , my life almost always about gambling that time.

Hmm, for me personally have experienced things like you face, I was late and did not even go to school just to satisfy the lust that I do in gambling. Indeed at first I get what I want, but after the big win the more days I get a lot of losses and even the amount of loss I get is much higher than the victory I get. So I started thinking of leaving gambling and finally with a strong determination now I can get away from gambling.

Absolutely not, and you should reconsider the amount of time you are giving to gambling. I'm afraid to say this, but those could be some signs of gambling addiction. I mean if you were on the transition from being a semi-pro gambler, that could be ok. That also happens with guys that are becoming pro-athletes. They often need home schooling etc, because they activities is very time consuming if they want to take it to the next level. If that is not your case, and gambling should be just an hobby, then it should never affect your job, since that needs to be one of your priorities.

Fortunately you had the chance to do your exam at the other day. And the best part is due to the fact that you were the second winner and got good amount of money. What a complete luck! I myself very rare to use my school time for gambling because I had limited allowance at that time.

Well i think exams really in college could be re eschuduled as long you have a valid reason. I discovered btc after i graduated so it really did not affect me in school and i have wifi for my phone when i am working so i am kind of doing two jobs at the same time with out any hassle. That was back then but now im tired of my job so i guess this is better than really having my job.

For me, I lose my interest in studying (When I was still in college). When I started gambling, I'm actually a student and I never thought that I would be addicted to gambling since I do hate gambling. But, when I first engage myself in this industry and win my first prize. I tend to lose interest in going to school and to study. Whenever I go to class my mind is still thinking about poker, I can't focus. I tend to think of strategy on how to win in a poker game instead of instead of reviewing for my examinations.

Those were the days that I wish that I could take it back. But, I can't undo what I've done hence I learn from it and I make it as my stepping stone for a brighter future.
