ICO dont really dump btc too much. Although the ban will let a lot of weak hands leave the crypto market and will also cause a drop in values in almost all the coins. However, it also can mean to be a good things for btc. Now we wont have less rubbish coins coming out to take a bite of the pie and make people lost fail in crypto for these fail coins. Btc is further able to strengthen his domination and other similar coins with good foundation.

Perhaps the topic opener bought Bitcoincash instead of Bitcoin. Still not a bad buy since I see it now being sold for around $500.

Can you just explain to me how you think bitcoin is influenced my scams in ICOs and guess you are going to have the hardest time getting your order than China accepting Hong Kong disintegration from mainland China

Made me laugh, was a good one.
Firstly, ICOs have nothing to do with Bitcoin, its price isn't going to be affected by them.
Secondly, more and more countries have legalized Bitcoin the recent few years.

I'm not sure if should really spend $475 for this virtual coin, but  do have that much money to gamble
From your saying, I guess that you have no idea about Crypto, unless you have a time machine to travel back in time, your order is never going to be fulfilled.

First of all it's too bad that you are saying bitcoin is worth $ 475 which supposed to be 4750!! Please respect the bitcoin value which worth four figures currently and making lives of people better. Secondly ICO will never get banned in most of the countries because they are very helpful in developing a real business in the real world by raising the funds in virtual world. After all government knows that the money will come back to national economy when that business starts working in reality. There are already many successful developments. So it's completely worth investing money into bitcoin and ICO which are based on ethereum smart contracts. Nothing is illegal in that.

I really don't want to disappoint you but $475 is near to impossible for Bitcoin. The things you mentioned are not directly related or associated with Bitcoin. It's about the users who are using it for illegal activities and government would definitely interfere in the matter if there is such suspicious use of Bitcoin. Let's be honest, it is not practically possible for anyone to track someone's Bitcoin activity and thus governments can not restrict anyone from using Bitcoins, if they try to do so then I fear than the unorganised black market will emerge. That would be the worst case scenario in my opinion.
