If the particular asset that you keep hold of shows continuous fall in value, don't get panic. Just try to buy and hold if you have the trust that the specific token will pump in value after certain time period. This is what the professional traders do, rather than getting panic and ending in loss.

If the prices are falling them scoop the bloodbath to save some money and also to have a chance to make profit faster because the price will go up again and that is the pattern in this cryptocurrency market. Don't just observe the market and do nothing because the best thing that you can do in order to earn a lot even the prices are falling is to scoop them up.
Altcoins are not good for holding when the prices are low because there are numerous cases of altcoins when they decreased in price and never recovered the prices again. Bitcoin is the only when which needs to be held when the prices are continuously decreasing, rather that is the best time for buying bitcoin. Bitcoin is the father of all altcoins and they are dependent on it for their values. On some altcoins then yes there are really times that when they do decrease their price they wont tend to recover which is truly happening on altcoin world but not all the time because some of them would really recover their prices too which it is still worth to hold up some coins specially on potential ones. The best thing to do when prices are falling is either you would risk to buy even more cheap coins or just take a pass since they arent worth to buy on. |

If you want to trade as a professional, then you should know that for every trade you have your own risk and if you achieve it, then you fix the trade at a loss. Well, if you trade Bitcoin and the price falls then just wait, sooner or later it will come back. Until today, always come back.

When the prices are falling, take tactical decisions buy more coins and preserve them,once the prices increases then sell the coins that gives profit.
Alts are not that much profitable now because bitcoin has made all investor its true believer and yeah holding is the best option when prices fall and it is just because that demand is low and supply is high and as tie passes people get benefits from the dump situation and they full up their wallets with bitcoin and prices start to rise so when the prices get high simply sell don’t greed for more profit this leads to waiting. |

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling. Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
Usually it's buying time when price is down. Especially the bitcoin savers.They used to buy coins to save more to have their profit in the future.Not just a profit but a big profit. Some are holding their bitcoin and wait for price increase because their coins is too wasteful to sell.But some bitcoiner have no choice the have to sell it wether in a low price because they need it. |

My strategy when prices are falling is to invest in them. When I find a coin with a low price I immediately but it. But if I have invested in it when it was with high price I wait until it becomes the same price again.

This is true, weak hands always lose money. Just be patient and definitely price will recover. I know not being emotional is tough when you see your investment going down but you just need to trust Bitcoin. |

Instead of panicing like what most people could do , weneed to take this as an opportunity to buy ourselves some cheap coins which could easy return a good profit within holding for a short period of time.

Thats so risky, have good reason to hold coin is a must. Don't hold coin which didn't has good fundamentals. I mean is factors like market cap, liquidity, fluctuation, developers and enthusiasm is important. Sometime cut loss when the price fall is needed to avoid bankruptcy. |

I suggest, "Don’t chase bitcoin prices." Decide on a entry access and stick with it. With bitcoin, you’re almost always right in terms of foreseeable price action. Be patient, and let the Bitcoin price come to you.
When bitcoin has reached the right price, i`m suggested that investors refrain from buying their bitcoin all at once, they should invest a little at a time, wait for a bit, and then invest some more.

staying calm and dont take the panic are the good thing to do as a trader and having some trouble like the price are falling and we know on that situation it is hard to stay calm but always think some possibility and negativity that can happen if you are take the panic on you. |

usually as i have noticed when bitcoin price are falling then that is the time that altcoin price are rising. so, all you need to do is to balance your holdings. buy coins that is in lowest price and trade or sell the coins that has the highest price at the moment.

You can sell it but it is not a right way... In view of the fact is u may loss your money..
There are two ways to do..
First of all you can hold it until the prices will get high..
But you haven't only bitcoin you had other alt coins. So the second option is, just check prices of all other altcoin and u need to note which price is high then exchange it to that currency and trade it.
