If you know that it will be a quick short dump and then the price will start to recover,  then you should take advantage of it. Follow the classical rule. Sell when the dumping is about to start. When the price reaches its bottom, start buying with the money you got from selling your previous coins. Again when the price reaches its top level start selling and make an exit with your profit. When bitcoin price fall down all we need to do is to sell it immediately, because if we can't do it there's a possibility that this are leads of loses to the owner part
For me the best thing to do when the price is falling is that we need to buy more bitcoin for good i believe that it is really profitable when we buy bitcoin in the verry low price and sell it during the high price occur. It is really the most simple yet profitable ways of gaining through bitcoin a d i believe that many of us here really do buy and selling to gain a huge profit.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

When the prices are falling and your investment is at loss just hold your coin and remember not to sell at loss wait for your investment to earn interest before selling otherwise it woukd bring you so much stress because of the losses. Ad a general rule Buy low and sell high only that should be your targe setting in investment.

Nothing! Cheesy watch it fall. Just do nothing, what goes down goes back up anytime around. Keep that in mind. You have to take risk. You had to have the guts. No guts no gain! Smiley as long as you will not let your greed takes over you in doing this you will always success in doing this.
Simple rule, hold your coin and watch the prices fall till to its lowest price. Make sure you save your coin for a profitable thing so must wait till it gets high again. And you have to take guts of course and believe in your guts and the risks is cannot avoided in this kind of transactions.

I will just hold my coin until the price raising up again if I don't really need money right now, so I will wait until the price going back up again so I don't lose my money. Because I believe if someday the price will increasing again so I will be patient to wait it.

What should be done? I think when the price fell to analyze market and hope the price bitcoin back up because if the price goes up, the price of the bitcoin coin others will follow
bitcoin prices are very influential for other coins if bitcoin rises another coin will balance it because the value or bitcoin price is highest among the other coins, so if the bitcoin value drops or low, I do not panic and I will save it because I'm sure one day the price will rise again . and it is a good idea when the low bitcoin price is an opportunity to buy it and hold it until the price goes up again and should be corrected for analysis in any way.

I would suggest you to just sit and relax. If you have money, just buy more bitcoins. And just HODL. You are gonna be very thankful to this price drop.

What I usually do if prices are falling most specially if the coins are very low, I would buy more coins from a much lower price and your total amount of couns would then be divided; the result would be lesser losses. Read or research on google about books or ebooks on trading.
That would be a good idea and would bring you a lot of profit when the coin price goes up. However, that is possible only if you still have enough satoshi to buy more coins at a very low price and just put it on hold it for a long time.

Yeah it's nice. do nothing on your investment, full-out your investment from exchange and go on vacations. Hang-out with your friends and reward yourself. Don't get panic when the dip comes as this is normal in cryptocurrency and take it as an opportunity to add your investment as you can buy those coins at cheaper price.

The best decision that we can do if the price is falling is to wait and have a lot of patience. Like now, this time the bitcoins and most of the altcoins are going down. I think it is only temporary and it will rise up again.

Many people afraid whenever bitcoin drop they may lost their money more and more, but they don't know, bitcoin is hardly to drop too low, so they sell their bitcoin to cut the lost, however i think before we do that we should stay calm and think bitcoin will rise again in the future, this is just a fluctuation of bitcoin so hold until it rise again. And for me the best thing to do is patient.

It depends, of course: if you have good reason to believe that it's only a correction, you only have to wait ad - eventually - buy more coin.
If not, and it's really a crash, well... sell and try to minimize the losses.

I'm relaxing calm down patience and waiting again to bounce back the price even if how is long time i will wait to back again in the same price.
Nervious and panicking if the price are falling dump are not healthy to us as a traders because if  you don't want to losse more in your investment don't make yourself paranoid because of nervous then sell the coins in the very lowest price.

Find the best time to sell your coins before it's too late and always check the market everytime. Usually when the prices are falling, it will go up again later. So if you want take a risk just wait and hold but if you want play safe, go sell the coins.

You should be patient and always look at existing market moves and charts, before you want to decide to buy or sell, in the currency trading crypto it all we can not predict, but for me personally will hold it for a certain time until the price is recovered, and before that I happen to buy at the time the price goes down, and keep all that then I wait until the price goes up

Just stay calm and always think positive. If you see that the cryptocurrency market is going down, it is better if you will not panic. Panicking can lead you to make many mistakes. You can lose your money if you will think negative.

When prices are falling usually bitcoiners do is to hold their bitcoin until the price of bitcoin is back. To those bitcoin savers this benefits to them because they can collect more more bitcoins. That will profit them a big amount of cash. They have a chance also to multiply their wealth. Bitcoin is the best way to earn money now. All people is curious what bitcoin is. They try to look for what bitcoin is?

Falling prices in the cryptocurrencies is not unusual as long as it will not go down to zero. If you believe that the coins you bought has the potential to grow in the long term then hold. Some beginners in bitcoin investment have the tendency to panic when they saw the prices of their coins they bought are going down quickly. If they don't know what to do, they might later overtaken by panic and this will result to panic selling. This result is caused by lack of knowledge in cryptocurrency investment by many beginners.

I believe one thing is that anyone entering this market is experiencing the same situation as you. When the high school rush, the coin type discount, the thing you need to do is to be calm, avoid cutting losses, must calculate well before the action. For me, I always make a specific plan when investing in any project, so when the price drops I usually buy more and buy at the bottom to pull down their buying price, not to suffer losses. Many and when I raise prices can be more profitable.

When prices are falling the best and wise thing to do would always be to hold on to the coin that one posses. We should all be aware by now that when the prices of the coins are not so good, it doesn't meant that they will totally lose their value for good. It is just their nature to be volatile, so we as it's users should be patient.
