It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Thank you, this looks pretty interesting. I'm still busy at work, but from a first glance this has some good test coverage and a clean and easy to understand code style.

I've starred it on Github and will look further into it on my next project. Thanks for posting this!

Are there libraries for other algorithms? x11, x13 ? please give links or articles on this topic (cryptocurrency python libraries)

btcpy v0.2 released, SegWit addresses and BIP32 HD derivation are now supported. Please also check the backward compatibility part for API breaking changes
