You should also take a look at FileCoin.
Their tokensale hasn't been announced yet but there are serious guys there...

There was Datacoin (based on bitcoin) also, but it failed. Pretty sure if it was launched this days. it will be more popular.

These coins all have greater potentials if they could create working project.
I bet most of them wont be capable to do it. Too bad they all are becoming pump and dumps.

Datacoin not quite dead. Chain remained active all this time and now people want to take over dev:
