It depends on time mate. useally if we don't need any urgent money then holding bitcoins is the good solution but if we need money and price is going don means we don't have any option we have to sell it and take money whatever it will come at present. Usually, I will do like this because to save my salary. same thought on bitcoin  price down

If we do cut loss we are in a situation of panic and it's not good, I have a lot of experience about cut losses, it always ends up with regrets. so when bitcoin price down better still hold because bitcoin price is fluctuating.

HOLD, HOLD and HOLD.

Only ever sell Bitcoin if you are investing into an awesome ICO or you desperately need the money to live.

I think we have to be realistic, the time will come when the bitcoin will be abandoned so that if the price continues to drop then the best step is immediately cut loss.

I do not and have not thought for the next few months there will be a decline from bitcoin let alone to be abandoned, instead I'm even more confident that will increase.
if it had to go down maybe but to be abandoned, not yet unthinkable.
No I will not cut or loss bitcoin when the price is down because is a part of market trade some time the price will be high and some time the price will be down so no need to worry about it its normal so we just need to wait for a short time and then the price will go high automatically because bitcoin change his price every day.
I agree with you but doesn't that mean that you will just hold your loss? and i personally think i will hold it too because if it goes down it will go up again that is why i think it will be easier for us to just wait and hold everything and if it goes down just buy more.

Taking from my experience, I will not do anymore that panic selling.  I just want to cut my loss since bitcoin price goes down for about how many hours.  Then after I convert my bitcoins into fiat after just an hour it goes up again.  I really regret that day and promised myself to just hold my bitcoin no matter what.

If you really believe in Bitcoin, no matter how much you paid now, you can pay $10k now and if it crashes to $5k tomorrow, you just hold and forget about it, within few days it can hit new record price and in few years may worth 10x more like $50k.

In 1/august of this year the price was ~$2600 and in the 30/august almost hit $5000, then september went down to $3000 and now it ~7000k, so just hoooold forever  Grin Grin Grin

My answer is no. It will recover soon. Bitcoin and altcoins are different. Bitcoin price can be fluctuated by market news. But in long-term, it will go up.

I would prefer to hold bitcoins in a situation like that , BTC is always increasing in long term and so it will in the future therefore holding BTC could possibly reduce or even make me profitable over a period of time.

One should always have knowledge about the fluctuating value about birocins and know when to buy them and when to sell .
With these basic knowledge no one would buy BTC when they are at the peak ,like in the situation.

I will probably hold.
The Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies, in general, are the future of the world's currencies and in my opinion eventually, they will just rise and rise.

I will hold it, High risk-High reward.but it doesn't mean to do something without analyse.long term trading is a very big risk, despite this i believe that  price will continue to go up.In my situation, holding bitcoin is always profitable. We all know history of btc, those who bought btc 7 years ago, now they are millionaires.

I prefer to sell Bitcoin thoughts because I can compensate my loss thanks to Altcoins. Bitcoin thought the prices of Altcoins are rising.

During the past 24 hours, Bitcoin has gone down by almost 15%, while the exchange rates of Bitcoin Cash has increased by a massive 52%. With the cancellation of SegWit2X, the BTC users are once again getting worried about the scaling issues. Right now I am neutral. I am neither buying, nor selling any of my coins.

If Bitcoin price down, it just is a market volatility. Bitcoin value will increase again soon. Therefore, Still holding is my choice.

You can see where the money is going. Bitcoin Gold has showed itself to be a failed project with no support. They still haven't made wallets and exchanges can't allow people to deposit money. They could do it but they blew it Cheesy
This means that if you want a decent Bitcoin clone all you have left is BCH and LTC. Money that could go towards BTG are now going into BCH.
