It doesn't make any sense to sell bitcoin when the price is down as we have seen this happening many times in the past and later on price recovered back and even now price has gone down so I will prefer to hold my coins and wait for the price to rise again.

Yeah man, the price of bitcoin is falling so hard right now around $3,800 and my only choice is holding my bitcoins for now because if i cut loss right now it will cost big for me and i won't it happen. My only hope is hold and wait until the price of bitcoin recovery and going up again. This is the first big fall since the last 1-2 months on bitcoin price.

I personally dont have bitcoin because i just already started learning about bitcoins since last week. But if u have one, i will keep it until the price goes up. I believe that the price of bitcoin will rise in the future and its better to hold bitcoins at this moment. Unless, you are really in need of money and you make bitcoins as your emergency fund then you will sell your bitcoins. The reason why bitcoin decrease its value is because of the news from china and that fraud fraud blah blah. For me if i have bitcoin at this moment ill better keep it and save for the future Smiley

if you buy bitcoin at a high price and bitcoin price goes down what will you do guys ?? will you cut your losses or hold it??

We know Bitcoin price is volatile. Price of Bitcoin depends on the amount of users. So if there comes a time that the price of Bitcoin dumps (have a significant difference from the time I bought), I would rather hold onto it. Because the price won't be there long in the low level. So just be patient on waiting 'coz some says by next year it will hit $10,000 or more.

Now it is not happening with me that i bought bitcoin in a low price and now still i am in a profit. Because you know that i bough my some bitcoins in a $300. So i don't need to take tension, because bitcoin will never come at this price $300 again. But suddenly within week, i see bitcoin price is going to down, so it is worried thing for me, because i want to see bitcoin cross $5000 in this year.

This question is very relevant now obviously.

I keep trying to see how I can learn to be an improved investor with this recent decline. Will be interesting to see where things go.

I never cut loss because so far bitcoin always rise in price. But it can not be denied it takes a long time. This may be an input for you, do not rush to cut loss.

I am definitely holding my bitcoin. There might never be another chance like this time. Once bitcoin recovers from the China ban, its rate will shoot up again like it did once and it will be more expensive because it will be like passing a very hard test.

I am new to Bitcoin and recently bought at price range $4500-$4800.
Maybe I had to wait, but that is always easy to say afterwards...

If I sell now, I will loose big money. I bought Bitcoin for long term, so I will hold anyway.
This doesn't mean that I'm still a bit down about the recent news and price drops...

I have to stop checking the prices every hour of the day. Smiley

if it happens to me, when I buy bitcoin, I will keep it until the price recovers so that there is not much loss I will receive, and as good as it does not need to panic when market price becomes lower, panic will only bring harm to its holder , when the price goes down still calm and continue to hold it, and as good as you take advantage of the price of fluctuating bitcoin, because there are many opportunities to get a profit,

Well a normal person especially a newbie would definitely get panic in such a situation and would immediately tend to sell his bitcoins to lessen the percentage of loss. But since i'm in this bitcoin market for more than two years,i know very well about the price movements of bitcoin and its nature in reacting to critical situations. After every price dip, bitcoin has increased immediately getting settled in a price much higher than its previous price. So,there is no chance of loss. So,no need to get panic. So,i would just hold my bitcoins cool.

Every few days the big players are cashing out , so we see red in almost all of the markets.
They have been doing this every few days.

Now is the time to cash out to fiat and wait out the drop back down to $1000 or less.
If you decide to hold, your hold time frame should be at minimum 5 to 10 years.
If you can't wait that long, your time to cash out is running out.

would be great to sell at the peak and then buy when the price is low but this requires some business skills. I personally will keep and can buy some more if the btc price goes low enough. This is a double-edged sword now because I also participated in some campaigns where I earned btc and I literally were forced to keep them so I would not lose the value of trading at a low price.
