According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I guess you could sent all your address balances to a single address(?).  Might cost a dollar or so.

these wallets which are HD follow same rules as each other. they are all getting your new keys from a seed or a master key. this master key is also similar to private/public key.
you have 1 master private key
and 1 master public key

obviously your master private key or your seed words must remain hidden.

but you can use the master public key. it is a long string that starts with xpub.... you can import that into a wallet and create a watch only wallet to follow your balances. this way when your Ledger creates a new key the watch only wallet also has the public key of that but only pubkey so you can check the balances.

you should however check Ledger to see what options it offers, i am not familiar with it. but the basics are the same.
