Two cons : - Rake is very high (like very very high) - The timebank is too short, especially in fantasy land. Players will feel uncomfortable which is a shame for such a fun game. Also would be good to get feedback on tournament blind structure. Too fast, too bug increases? We will not tolerate anyone trying to gain an advantage in tournaments and if caught you will be banned. I'll have a look at the rake and time settings for OFC. We tried to make the rake for nlhe/plo is lower than stars. OFC might need tweaked.
All right. For some infos about rake in current OFC online industry, I found this : - swcpoker (crypto-world) : rake of 2% each hand / caps of 0.90$ , 1.40$ and 1.80$ respectively from small to highstakes - tonybet (fiat-world) : rake of 1% each hand / cap of 2.50$ for all stakes Concerning time settings, I would recommend at least 30 sec between each draw and at least 1 min in fantasy land. And a beginner who wants to discover a new game will probably need more. Keep in mind that unlike holdem and omaha, players need a good amount of time to take a decision because they must analyse the settings of their opponents. For example : in a 3-handed game, before last draw, the player in position must take into consideration 31 cards already faced up. It's a lot of information. Well it's impossible to convert it to Bitcoin value due to the different funds rasied (btc, eth, ltc) and expenses spent so far (marketing, dev, server etc not to mention buying back tokens already). But I think removing the buy back option could then allow it to trade independantly on exchanges and if we can give the token different utility then it could be added to different exchanges. Would not be something to rush but I think improvements could be made. |
