Wink I think that it will just be replaced by some altcoins. But the short-term drop of all coins is inevitable in such a case.

It all depends on how bitcoin would die, if bitcoin will die due to having a lack of people investing in altcoin maybe that's the case the altcoin die. My other theory is that if bitcoin die due to having low investors or nobody invests in bitcoin the altcoin would not die and replace bitcoin at the top of cryptocurrency.

If bitcoin die, altcoin could disappeared too. but all of that is depends on the background story of that bitcoin. if bitcoin died because of banned around the world, then others coin will get the same impact too. but if bitcoin just not have enough demands and become fall plus disappear. then there will be the other coin that rising to the top.

Many other currencies are dependent on bitcoins. Therefore, one should expect that if bitcoin starts to lose its position. then other currencies will also start to fall in price. But hardly a bitcoin will die.

I think IDF bitcoins die the alt coin will be still airbill, and it is depend in the users of the alt coin, there has a big possibilities that it the bitcoin die some alt coin may explode because many users of bitcoin will turn to other alt coins and they invest in it that's why some of this will increases its price and continue to explode each day, alt coin depends on the users of it and not in the price of bitcoin.

Current market conditions, in addition to exchanges between altcoin-bitcoin, are now available between altcoin-ethereum, perhaps this will be an alternative for the future. Although today almost all altcoin still use bitcoin as a reference including ethereum, it could be that if bitcoin is not available in the market, ethereum can replace its position (maybe this is just my speculation only).

the lower threshold for bitcoin mark of 5 thousand dollars. When the rate drops lower, the investment will burn, and investors switch to gold

I do not think Bitcoin will ever die. Bitcoin is now the world's most popular cryptocurrency . Many people are left dependent on it. Increasing popularity is increasing day by day. Also popularity in Altcoin is increasing, Altcoins usually reflects Bitcoin prices. So long as the Bitcoin remains alive, altcoin will remain alive for so long.

I think if bitcoin die, altcoin won't die. Maybe altcoin's price may rise extremely since all bitcoin users will surely switch to altcoins. They will invest so much money that can make its price higher than expected.
I agree with you, not because Bitcoin dies, altcoins will follow. If ever Bitcoin will die, I think it will be a great chance  to all altcoins to be on top; altcoins will be given a chance to be more valuable and popular.

If bitcoin die, i dont think the other coin will die because not all coins are the same. Some coins offer what bitcoin can't and vices versa. The reason why alt coins exist is that there's a lot of loop wholes found in bitcoin that can be improved. Bitcoin just stayed on the top because it's the first, basic, and most famous.

Going back to the question, other coin will not die. Some coins are centralized and not anonymous which is what the government like. So if mass purging of decentralized and anonymous transaction gonna happen world wide, bitcoin will die and the others will survive.

At my opinion altcoins will live because most of them are better than bitcoin from tech side but they are cheaper and still developing. In this case price doesn't matter.

Can't wait for Bitcoin to get as low as zero so people would be able to become millionaires with other more mature and advanced coins!

If bitcoin is prohibited by most countries in the world that make its currency unreliable and no longer enough to make a profit then there may be a replacement that replaces the cryptocurrency throne, but if cryptocurrencies are really prohibited then yes, altcoin will die with bitcoin. but chances are not going to happen, because crypto currency is not just about bitcoin alone, there are altcoins that can replace bitcoin for the future, hopefully the bitcoin and altcoin will never run out in the future.

Altcoins always trade against Some big digital currency like bitcoin, ethereum ,doge ,litecoin and waves. but mostly altcoins trades against the only bitcoin that coins can not trades without it and they will die forever. but all altcoin can not die because there is not all pairing with bitcoin.

If Bitcoin dies then it is very possible that the other coins will be affected too, but because altcoin is paired with Bitcoin near about 70% thatswhy chances of bitcoins failure is very less.

I think it's impossible, the more likely it is the altcoin that first dies, but if there is a possibility of bitcoin die, then altcoin will rise, but it will only be temporary, altcoin will also die after the dead bitcoin.

If bitcoin dies due to state intervention, then after it the altcoins will die. If there is no intervention and at the same time the cryptocurrency will go into oblivion, then bitcoin will be the last coin to die.

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

In my own opinion, the value of altcoins will grow further when bitcoin die because altcoins was created to compete on bitcoins and consumers will look for another coin to invest and that will be the next coin to grow its value since those consumers does not want to lose all their profit and they will focus on another coin.
