BitVault® announces dedicated sales team in India

Embedded Downloads and VVDN Technologies announced the deployment of a dedicated sales team for the BitVault® in the Indian market.

According to company sources the team will focus on customised enterprise solutions for government communications systems as well as for the corporate market and the financial services sector.

The move comes after proposals mandating the use of mobile phones manufactured by Indian companies for official communication. The suggestion came up at a meeting called by Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad with senior officials in the department, including representatives of Cert-In, earlier this month. Secure communication services to this sector could be to a base in excess of 5 Million users.

I love the concept! But it is fairly difficult to sell it at 849 EUR I imagine when you are competing against giants such as Apple and Samsung. Do you plan on marketing this product elsewhere? Do you plan on allowing other phone devs to create their own phone with your software?

yes its like regular phone otherwise but with its own operating system and APP store, only BitVault to BitVault calls and communications are secured by the private keys. if you call regular phone, the other phone will create a security lapse, therefore that call cannot be secure. for more discussions please join our slack channel.

it is modified android. but regular Android apps cannot be directly installed. apps would need to have official signatures, which can be made available on the app store of the device.
i do not know the exact details why the financial team set this price, but in my personal opinion, iris scanner may be the expensive part.
