the bitcoin here in the Philippines is not as popular as any other country. So you can not even charge a bitcoin for a restaurant. But for me it's good for a restaurant that they get paid by bitcoin. Good for the future. I believe in the future that bitcoin will be the new money. So we must get used to modern payment.

I personally do not favor bitcoin to be used as a payment method for restaurants. However, if majority of the restaurants start accepting bitcoin, then it will increase the popularity of bitcoin among the masses which will increase the investment flow in to bitcoin.

However, as an investor of bitcoin, I personally won't spend bitcoin after a dine out. I would rather pay by cash and save my bitcoins for future use. I believe in bitcoin as an investment asset and not as a payment currency. So I would better earn and save bitcoins instead of spending it.  

You actually have point. I also see that bitcoin in transavtion n on businesses could have a way better form because as of now bitcoin price is changing and developing time to time. So the earning and the loss of every transaction is quite hard to say and hard to analyze. It could be better if people will start on dealing with Bitcoin investments and trading rather than transsction, yet it is not bad to deal with transaction through the use of Bitcoin.

That kind of service is not yet available in my country. A few things that would be a concern is will restaurants accept payments without confirmation? You cannot hold customers while you wait for confirmation.

I am very regret that my country has not got these things. Maybe I will have to wait a long time to see the changes of my country. It would be unlikely that btc payment bureaus would be present when there was only one btc ATM station and the number of people who knew btc was less than 5% of the population. But, for me... btc is still a potential coin, which can bring me income.

In my country there is no minimarket or restaurant that accept Bitcoin as payment.
But for the payment of electricity bills, internet bills, or game vouchers are now many places that receive Bitcoin as payment.

This kind of thread was always been bumping around the Forum and I think it depends on the country if they have a restaurant that accepted bitcoin, well it really depend on the countries possibility if bitcoin surely is accepted there, but it would be great if restaurant and other merchant can accept bitcoin but you would not be anonymous anymore to your friends or other people that you are using bitcoin, but whatever at least you can surely use your hard earn bitcoin directly.

In the area I live in, most restaurants have not accepted the Bitcoin payment method. But with Bitcoin's current momentum, I believe that in the future it will be applied to restaurants and all the stores where I live.

In my city, no restaurant accepts Bitcoin.

The problem is that transactions are confirmed for a long time. The client does not want to wait for confirmation.
With cash it's easier, paid and left immediately.
And a very large commission.

People could not agree on the possibility of innovation in terms of transaction in the way of payment and business. Yet there are some point on the system of Bitcoin that need further development for it to have a successful say of transactions.

but there are already some services that accept payments via bitcoin, such as:

i think the 2 major problem that its going to encounter will be transaction fees and people's willingness to spend their bitcoin.imagine spending like $200 worth of bitcoin and pay about $10 worth of tx fees or spending $400 dollars worth of bitcoin just to wake up in the morning to realize that the $400 u spent last night is worth $450 due to rise in btc price while the $400 u had in ur wallet or debit card remain thesame

I would really love to experience on using directly my bitcoin on this kind of stuffs on which you can able to eat on a restaurant without the need to have cash in your pocket as long you do have your bitcoin from your mobile phone. For now theres still no restaurants that do accept bitcoin as a payment and i would say that it would takes time for sure for them to adopt such new payment system knowing on its volatility then it would really be hard to consider.

In my hometown Jakarta , there is 1 or 2 Restaurant we can pay in bitcoin using your smartphone, but very rare people using this , it is still complicated maybe at future.
