hi guys.
just need some help picking a good btc mining wallet that accepts small payments (would like personal experience).
im using jaxx and support said they dont accepts mining payments and that it wont receive payouts from mining

Well that makes no sense since payments of any size can go into any valid btc address.  Sounds like an online wallet (read you don't own it if you don't control the private key) and you should steer well clear.
I generate my addresses offline and have them printed out for backup and archiving.  Then I use mycelium on android for its security and ease of importing keys.

Sorry new to this mining..jaxx said they can accept payments but some won't go thru because it will send micro payments constantly

Just want to know a wallet that accepts small btc from mining
Read copay might work but looking for personal experience

As Vrobb said, you really should have a small wallet installed on mobile device at least, as long as mining reward is covered with transaction fee, unless on multi payout, you will get the reward.

Try coinomi for android. It support several crypto. Excelent if you're mining different cryptos.

What wallets should I use for mining? I recently started mining and I came across several videos that warn people to be careful about what wallets you use for mining. In fact they tell people to read the user agreement before you use a wallet. Here are two examples:

try My Ether Wallet

It is my first crypro wallet I setup and I Find it easy to setup although little complicated to use.
To get a transaction history you have to go to another site called ethescan.io. Also this wallet can be imported into metamask. The keys are stored locally on your machine.
You will find it easy to use on multiple machines. The only downside is that you have to trust the website of open the wallet.

Coinbase have a eth and ltc wallet along with bitcoin wallet. I have seen the suggestions all are altcoin wallets like jaxx and myether wallet is widely suggested. why we cannot able to use the online or desktop wallet for mining. I know we can set the threshold value which amount you wish to get the amount to the wallet.

Well receiving small payments will only hurt you in the long run, just save up the btcs in your mining website and withdraw higher amounts. You may try coinbase, i think they mix up your coins so you won't be burning up your btc when you withdraw.

You can use almost any wallet to mine too. I used to use coinbase for my hobby mining operation. But having learned along the way it wasn't really the best option for my self. It is a great easy to wallet but I like having full access to my wallet and coinbase doesn't allow you to do that. So I swapped to MYCELIUM which is also a really awesome android wallet which I still use for alot of my BTC buying purchases. But not very good for hobby mining. Since it will not allow you to set the transaction fees. If you can not set your fees when consolidating, you will get raped when it comes time to spend the fruits of your labor. Been there done that. As you can see from the recent TX before I learned how to consolidate. https://blockchain.info/tx/266016458fbc1f666e9dd49eaab4abcec489d8343cf6a2fd3a1bd7630a0548c8 But after getting raped on fees I found it was time to learn how to not let this happen again. So after reading and asking the right people I was taut how to consolidate and  here is another transaction of me consolidating my miner payments https://blockchain.info/tx/27cdeffc6bf7a8ca49d16dd6070e37876d07e128c2ac8350c3a5813746454492 Just look at the fees I used per byte. The first transaction was from mycelium wallet at 176 sats per byte.(I got so raped spent 550 costed me 200 in transaction fees. The second transaction was used from Electrum which I am able to set my own fee at I set this transaction way to low but it was at 1.66 sats per byte. (some one was nice enough to mine it for me)

In the end your it is your decsion on which way you would like to go. My best option is to run my own wallet like Electrum or something similar. This way I have full access to my keys and can set my own transaction fees and not get raped.

Or you could mine at a pool you can set a withdraw limit on payments so you have less micro transactions.  But then you run the risk of the pool wallet getting hacked or pool disappearing and running off with the btc left in your miner wallet.

I been mining for almost 3 years I think and only recently figured out how to consolidate my mining payments with out getting raped on the transaction fees.

Just as an FYI, the Mycelium devs finally added more fine grained control to the fees... instead of the 4 presets (Priority, Normal, Eco and Low-Prio)... they've implemented a 2 stage fee slider... You still select from the original 4 options (Prio, Normal, Eco, Low-Prio) using the first slider, but you then have a second slider that has 20 steps... currently, you can set from 0 sats/byte all the way up to 262 sats/byte using the various slider combinations.
