The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Any Bitgem wallets syncing... myself and another person are having syncing issues.  Can anyone confirm their wallet is syncing?  Sorry for the off-topic.

It's working fine for me  Huh. I have done  a tx with mullick a little time a ago ...

If it has been an attack or so BitGem seems recovered and stronger !!

I love how this rumor is sreading around....... No the blockchain stalled. If what you are saying is true My wallet would have synced and I could have mined. The fact is no wallets would sync and noone could mine. The pool that everyone is blaming went offline exactly like everyone else. No idea what happened but the chain is back again. If it was just difficult to find a block I would not have posted an [ann] thread. The blockchain stalled for everyone everywhere. Although most were sleeping and unaware when they woke up that anything happened

maybe the block was just hard to find? I know one of my card was mining at binarycoins and it took few hours to find the block but we were mining on it...

What goes around comes around...
