Let's start actively building the hype for our coin and get more adopters.

Objectives:

1) Build up a range of services that accept our coin
2) Raise the hashrate above a g/h
3) Massive campaign on the forum to get attention
4) Get on a major exchange platform

If we do this right, our coin can outpace the altcoin a day phenomena, but it requires input from all of us.

I'd suggest this template as a letter to the admins of bter and btc-e to get their attention, 2 or more emails from each of us a day from our various accounts should peak their interest

Hello

I write this letter to (X site) today with a goal in mind, that being the implementation of the alternative cryptocurrency known as PhenixCoin (PXC).

What differentiates this coin from the influx of other cryptos is the fact that its developers built the coin as a usable tool for their upcoming projects, namely a full casino coming in the near future to accompany their already widely-known phenixpoker website. This means that the coin has a rooted utility and thus value in the coin developer's projects. Within a few weeks, an official Phenix Exchange will be available provided by the developers themselves.

Thus, in conclusion, I write to ( X site ) in hopes that the implementation of PXC on an trading platform will be taken seriously for consideration. Please respond if you have any more questions about PXC or for whatever other reason.

Thank you.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

sorry for the slow reply time KlausMiner , my machines are down for routine maintenance.

Please link him to the site, and ask him to get a wallet, i'd be willing to send a few PXC his way so he can try out the site for himself.

if ossible, link him to the OP thread so they can see how much activity is there in the community.

Let's go people, hustle!!!!

I know you guys mean well, I realy do. But it's not smart ( because I like you guys I'm using an understatement ) to push other exchanges to pick up PXC. You've seen what happened at cryptsy. We need a lot more trading volume before this is a good idea.

these are just feelers, we are not intending to be put on there now, but for them to watch the coin grow. putting it on an exchange now would be destructive.

right ...

Got a close shave with ctyptsy and only due to Big Vern understanding the situation he handled it swiftly and nice in my opininon...and now users are pushing it not even 24 h later onto other exchanges..give that babytime to grow a little more ... So that it's prepared if it enters the common marketplaces ...servces are up andrunning etc...or els it will be mined and dupmed and trampled to death by sheer greed  ...

Well, this: "(...) a goal in mind, that being the implementation of the alternative cryptocurrency known as PhenixCoin (PXC)."

And this "(...)  hopes that the implementation of PXC on an trading platform will be taken seriously for consideration."

Does read to me like "plz put it on up! ...

But then, I'm no native speaker ...

I have also to comment on the topic and I have to apologise for my english.

At first I have to say, that PhemixCoins are a very good idea and they could have a very proper futher. But at the moment, when I look to the current stat of this coins I see a lot of problems.

1. The review/the opinions of this coint in the forum does not seem to me to be the best. I have the feeling, the most people see PXC as just an other premined alt coin. Nothing more and no lees. This is very sad, because it could be the first alt coin with an use beyond the pure speculation. When you take a look to the CRYPTOCOIN LIST from xorxor, PXC is listed as: “ltc clone, 1'000'000 coins premined “. Thats all. You find no word about the planned and allready started applications like the poker site and the excange. Perhaps someone should chat with xorxor to convince.him of the use of this coins?!

2. The community in this forum is very inactive. PXC post has only a handful of supporters (barwizi, YaCoinYeah, KlausMiner, Joerii etc), the more or less uncoordinated posts. There are certainly a lot of more potential to use.

3.   BTER had complained that the PhenixCoin page has very little traffic. Perhaps it is time to increase the name recognition outside of this forum and place more backlinks to the corresponding PXC pages? Perhaps an active Facebook PhenixCoin account could make more people aware of this project. You can donate every new LIKE or Frinds with some PXC. This would be more usefull than to squander the premined PXC here. This creates attention and backlinks for the important google ranking.

4. Perhaps a Wikipedia article would be helpful to increase the worth of the project.

5. No robots.txt no Meta-Description on phenixpoker.com. (not sure if this is still important.)

6. The whole life of this coins take place in this subforum. that's too bad.

Yes all of these are extremely important.

We are working on deals right now to take Phenixcoin to the outside world, slowly. We are not anywhere near where we want to be project wise.

We are still having issues with poker tournaments, we have several projects underway that need to be completed before we can go full on with marketing.

Its only been released for 5-6 days now, and we are concentrating our efforts in this sub forum, until we get things more solid.

We have seen great support and understanding from people here, we want to see this grow with a strong foundation, even if means it happens at a little slower rate.

Interesting ideas, but much time is no longer. The trust in PXC disappears.

It doesn't have the support that other coins has due to its release in the influx of new coins that just appeared the day of its launch. People don't understand that huge developments for its coin use are actually in dev as we speak. Once they release a wave of new miners and investors will come in.

I think the "new" people here are just really impatient now thanks to the influx of all these pump and dump coins.

The devs of PXC have decided that they're in it for the long haul, as can be seen by the amount of work they have already put into these projects.

I'm excited about the direction this coin is going.  LTC and BTC didn't take off overnight.  Neither will PXC.  But that's what is going to make it so strong.  The race to the exchange only leads to one place = early death and irrelevance.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.
