No it seems like it's not even 10. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. I need to ask something in the blockchain.info thread, but I can't. I'm going to start spamming posts in this thread until I'm able to post elsewhere.

If you had used your opportunity to ask the question when you made your post, I would have given you an answer.

I try to be respectful and informed.

What does it mean to have worth, anyway?  It's all relative right?  Perhaps some researcher somewhere is data mining this forum and your post has proven something about the speaking patterns of humans.

Just kidding.

I think the attitude of making worthless posts is the problem, you could easily use your first 4 hours to soak up as much knowledge as you could. On my personal account I had more than probably 14 hours on the board before I made a post. When I got here it was just so much to learn so I dove in head first. I mean I still have a ton to learn but just observing and taking things in are more valuable than most people think.

Sure, but just because you're a forum newbie, doesn't mean you're a bitcoin newbie.

The posts are not worthless if you make them valuable.  Do your best.
Established members do read in this area.  Do your best.
Post your questions and comments.  Do your best
I suspect that you can move your thread to another area after you achieve status.  Do your best.

I try to be respectful and informed.

ok, so i came to this forum, checked some posts that really took my interest, registered, to stay notified and now i would have a real question concerning one of the entries ... what now... for me those 5 posts are kinda like worthless... forces me to produce junk or come up with needless questions that might already be answered elsewhere for getting the info...  Huh
so whatever i think 3 to go...  Cheesy

I think the value is to only have the serious posters actually getting access to the other forums.

In the name of posting, I am getting another post in.

As for the logic in this, without a more robust reputation system or integration with Google/Disqus/OpenID, it's an easy, but tedious, method.
