I have been involved in this project since alpha 1.08.  I have 5000+ coins but I am unable to generate more and can only watch from the sidelines.  Hope dev adds a pool soon otherwise I am getting left behind.

We will finish beta testing first then the launch of main net before thinking about any exchanges. This will happen most likely early 2018.

what is the mining specifications, I guess is based on something similar to Bitcoin algo. Wallet needs to be fully tested before release

its still on beta, you can mine semux when you register as Delegate(one time cost 1000 SEM) and vote up for yourself to become a Validator, you need more than 14770 SEM now Rank #55.

Yes, when dev increase the max number, but i hope dev will work on better system, now it's looks not so fair, you can always kicking out as validator if poeple has more SEM

As far as I understand, the number of validators will slowly increase until it reach 100 and not move from that. And a pool should be added, a validator where people can vote and get shared reward. Or at least a few words where said no Discord. I don't know if it's still the plan or not.

That's the plan. Max 100 validators. A pool need to be setup.

How secure is this coin? I don't really trust Java won't continue to decline in popularity and I'm a bit worried about even having it on my computer (and Microsoft C++). Is it even supported anymore or am I confusing it with something else? I remember something about Chrome...
