Sem had been popular in bitcointalk as I see, but I think they are some question need to solve.
1.the exchange need a bigger platform.
2. the spread need more coin,I think it should invite the community member who was ability to do the market.
as we know that EOS had a lots of market manager to join, the mining node should be control to the guys who was popular in their native community.
3. PK with other project,I think SEM need a office team member to represent，when the guys was familiar to the players,it would be more successful for the project.

this is my advise for this project,I hope the dev can adopt it

I totally agree with you. I think we need more exchanges to list semux. At present, semux propaganda power is not enough. Only the BTT community can't quickly increase its popularity. It also needs some social media help.

I totally agree with you. I think we need more exchanges to list semux. At present, semux propaganda power is not enough. Only the BTT community can't quickly increase its popularity. It also needs some social media help.

Remember this project is not an ICO project and we need to be real with ourselves, EOS collected billions from their ICO and have huge fund to throw at marketing unlike Semus team that need to be creative with their available resources

Regarding exchange - dev said in discord that additional listings are postponed till VM release. Some exchanges use smart contracts to manage deposits and I think this makes sense.

In my opinion, I don't think that the current bearish market will last extremely long like your statement.

There is a major difference between crypto markets and normal stock markets.

Normal stock markets may take a few years to switch from bear to bull run.

But crypto markets cycle is much faster. Most of the time it only takes a few weeks for the switch.

Do you guys notice of DOGE coin in recent? After accumulating at the low price, it surpassed 3 fold reaching nearly 100sats. So that in case of SEM, I think it now being the phase for preparing.

I don't think SEMUX will experience a same developmental way as of Dogecoin.
Dogecoin might tail off over time or in the worst case it will die someday next years.
Latest pumps might be followed by dramatic losses.

Not the worst thing. I hope devs will deliver VM in time in Q4 and there will be nice combo with tech improvement + good exchange listing. We'll need some very active marketing at that time though...

Don’t forget we have a sig campaign ongoing: new exchange + more liquidity means price dump for sure.
I would wait for end of sig campaign for any tech or marketing stint.

I think it's a great idea and it was brought up already but no visible response here yet form the devs.

You guys should start sending out Blockfolio Signals.  That would get your project a lot of attention and the success it really deserves for all the amazing work you are doing.

I think we'll need more than VM to be successful. The tech is already there and the devs are constantly improving the project. However, as others have mentioned, we do need marketing as well to be successful.

I think we recently had a couple of new and potentially good ideas brought up by the community members:
- Semux InstantSend transactions similar to the ones in Dash.
- blockfolio signals

Blockfolio signals is an interesting idea. I hate the ones from these ELF spammers but I just learned that you can block certain coins. 
I think Blockfolio charges quite a bit for this service though. You have to take that into account.

Semux could also really benefit from weekly Blockfolio Signal updates.  Most other projects do this and it really carries the developers work home to the masses, so they can see all the effort going in.
