I am interested in this coin but i have some questions.

1. What version of litecoin are you using?  (Is it latest version).

2. WHat is Dusting?  I saw the wallet and there is a dusting tab.

3.  Is this Litecoin with PoS added?

Hi there! It's not a fork of litecoin, we are using our own block chain. PoS was there since the beginning, then PoW was added later on for smoother block generation.

Dusting works just like de-fragmentation in older windows systems, compacting coins into less blocks. This is because PoS Will gradually fragment blocks over time.

We have our mandatory protocol upgrade to Odocrypt scheduled for Block 9,100,000 at which time you need to be running DigiByte Core 7.17.2 to ensure you are not left behind.
This is expected to be reached approx July 19th 2019.

This version also includes the Dandelion++ implementation enabled by default, though this can be disabled by launching using -disabledandelion=1

The upgrade should install over the top of 6.17.x with no changes to RPC calls etc made since.

Hi ppl, just found Litecoin Plus recently and got one question : in web wallet how can i generate new adress ?
I click on generate new but nothing happens. I was looking an easy way to create a fast address to test it before full wallet.
In droid wallet happens the same. M i doing something wrong or missing something ?

Press the "Receive coins" tab and then click on "+New address" ... the rest is self-explanatory

- Splitting blkindex.dat and txindex.dat files: one contains block index, the other transactions
- Automatic upgrade procedure when running the first time and it does not find the separate index
- CDiskBlockIndexV2: store hash of current block for wasting much less CPU at boot
- Drastic improvement of syncing speed (10000 blocks/minute with SSD, same speed as bootstrap file)


Windows, Mac and compiled Linux will be available in the next few days on the official website for download.

A note for upgrade, for all users !

This version will upgrade automatically the block chain index stored on disk:

1. Will get rid of the file bindex0001.dat (the fast cache), for good
2. Will create a new file called txindex.dat, and move all miscellaneous keys into this file
3. blkindex.dat will contain only the "blockindex" keys, to make initial load and usage fast

This conversion works for all, QT and DAEMON versions.

Do not interrupt the conversion while it is doing it, the files will be corrupted and the wallet software will not start anymore. You will need to sync again from zero. Wallet file should be unaffected, anyway as a general precaution, always backup your wallet.dat before upgrading.

Once you have converted the files, you cannot go back to run previous version without syncing the block chain from zero again.
