I recently wanted to get into Devcoin so I downloaded the windows-exp installer version from https://www.box.com/s/crfmuuhe0f32w5g4nt4i. I installed it onto a machine running windows 7 home premium x64 with no problems and ran it for the first time perfectly. Then I let it run for a few minutes and then I closed it. When I tried to open it again, it never opened (I gave it three hours to open when I tried it the second time so I don't believe it was ever going to open).
I have subsequently tried it on four different computers with varying specs but all have windows 7 home premium x64 and they have all yielded the same result (namely it opens the first time and never opens again). I have tried everything I could think of including rebooting after installation, giving it hours to load to take the "time" factor out of the equation, and running the program as admin.

What did I do wrong? Can anyone please help me?

Thanks so much

no firewalls on the computer (last one I tried was after a fresh os reinstall and the deactivation of all firewalls). Any other ideas? This makes absolutely no sense to me and I really want to get involved with Devcoin Sad

default behavior is that it to the tray and not the taskbar,  could you be minimizing it and not knowing to look for it in the tray?

Check the options and see if you have that set and unset that.  Rebooting, as you said you did should fix that though.    Can you try and run the command line devcoind instead?  It should at least output the error message.  Alternatively, look in %APPDATA%\Devcoin, and see what the last lines of debug.log are.
