Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
It is very important that before entering a trade, you should first have a plan for that certain action that you'll be doing. For example, have an entry and exit price for that coin. After that, do your own research about the coin that you'll be trading. I usually base my trading period on the amount information that I got for that certain coin. If it has a good technology backing it up, I usually hold it for 1 to 6 months. If I found out that it is an interesting project but don't have good devs backing it up, I usually trade it in short-term period, 1 day to 1 week.

according to your question, I think that I will hold my coin until the coin price in the market rises from the target ico 20% / 50%, after which I will sell my coins

Depending on Your trading pattern, you must have your pattern of trading to decide when you sell off a coin, how much you will old for future purpose all must be percentage basis,if you invest always have a time frame when you decide to trade off your coin. Listens to news concercening the coin, check the growth and dump rate of the coin and also observe the team of investors to the coin.

it depends on the potential that the coin you are holding can provide. Some coins are not very good and you will not gain anything if you hold it for a long time. Therefore, we mus do some research before choosing a coin to hold

I try to keep until the price grows at least twice. But sometimes I sell with a small profit if you need money for new investments. But now with experience, I understand that it is better to keep promising coins for more than a year

I have alt coins that I am holding for over a year now because I know that the value will pump really high in 3 to 5 years. And there are coins that I dump once it made above 50% profit. I know that is only the value it can become. The trick is know the coins you are buying so you will know what to do with it or know when to dump.

As long as I believe it is still one of the most profitable.
Once I needed money for a more promising coin, I cull and sell the least promising coin/token to reinvest. That cycle continues...

My strategy is to hold them until I retire or they drop out of the top 100 for market cap.
Would be that too risky if you hold them that long?., i mean because of the volatility of some coins.

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
no matter how people talk and explain to you, you will never know if you are not involved you will know if you practice it. you must be involved in it, then you can measure and think buy or sell. if you are going to invest or trade. The first thing you know is the plan. what plan do you think, what opportunities can you get with the coin you choose. after that you just strategize, step by step.

Just think about before you invest how much gain is acceptable. Are you in for 10% gain of your investment or do you want to race a lambo on the moon. Depending on how much gain you think is acceptable that will determine how long you will hold a coin.

usually I hold my coins for 2 things only .. 1. I hold the coin because I have not considered profit. 2. I take off my coin when I face emergency money needs so I will sell all my coin.

That's correct and holding altcoins too long can be risky as you never know when the price will crash and if you don't sell at a right time then you will have to hold your coins longer for the price to bounce back so I generally prefer to sell them when its giving me good profits as I can buy them back when price will go down in near future.

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
Depending on the coins ive been holding because usually I do set up a sell point which is usually on 2x-3x on its ico price.I do sell in these points which I do hold my coins if its not being reached yet I wont still able to sell. This might really took long but it would be worth it on this way. When I sold higher on ICO price then that would be profits and later on I decide to buyback and repeat the entire thing.

There is no specific time limit for me to hold my coins as I sell them when I have made descent amount of profits as I don't prefer to hold my altcoins too long as price can dump at any point of time so in that case selling them at the right time sounds good to me and holding bitcoins for a long term is the key to make huge profits in future and I will sell my bitcoins only when it hits $10k price in near future.

Agree with that not holding for too long but not all coins are going to sell i am only sell it when i really need. Then other is holding but this is not mean that i hold it because i just want but some of us this is the trick that we do holding.
