Morning Project Earth,

A premine, in my definition, is a quantity of coins that is mined by the developer, before the public can mine, and is for them to retain and use as they wish.

The ICO is an initial distribution method to the public.  We are not keeping any of the coins from the ICO for our use.

Masternodes are not "sold" per say by the developer .  Once you have enough Halo in your wallet for the tier of Masternode that you want, you merely start it up, either buy going through the typical VPS, sync a new wallet system, or by using our guided, hosted process.  This process is essentially a one click method for opening a masternode and does not require any technical know-how.

Not really much of a wait, 60 days or so.  The ICO coins will be distributed before the network officially launches.  The major positive to buying during the ICO is having the coins available at the official network launch to open masternodes and earn before their numbers swell.

Have you looked at the website at all?  Which part is not clear on vision and mission?  I'm here to answer any questions.  But on a really brief synopsis we are creating a user experience that will bring together all the different aspects of your crypto presence into one spot.  It is backed by a full network of its own and the Halo coin which is used as a general basis for all the services and records transactions, documents, smart contracts, etc.

If you want to be technical, any ICO of a coin that has PoW is a premine, as the dev team has to generate block 1 with the coins for the ICO before the network is released to the public.   This still does differ from an actual premine though, as we do not keep the coins, but will distribute them to the participants of the initial coin offering. 

If you feel it means something else, please elaborate.   Our presentation was put together with all honesty and integrity, that does not mean that oversights may not happen, but never with malicious intent to misrepresent.

We currently have 4 core team members, each experienced in development environments and project management. The information about only four developers is incorrect. Currently we have 14 contract developers and are interviewing more specialized developers right now.

Your concerns about such a small team producing such a large product would be well founded if there were only 4 developers on the whole project. Indeed we will have the Halo programming army, as shown on our contact page under the core team members, to handle such an enterprise-level project with such an aggressive timeline.

Sure, everyone has entitled to their opinion, unless you are just looking at the price with doing 0 technical or market research.  The price per Halo is set to provide participants a great entry point.  Google was expensive to buy initially also, then still expensive at $100, $200, $300, $400...etc

This is my biggest annoyance with the LUX coin that just launched. They want 16,120 coins for a Masternode! You can never mine your way to it, you can only throw down $50,000-$75,000 (buying from the dev's huge premine of course) to get a less than interesting Masternode!

I cannot believe HALO isn't getting more attention. They're doing it all, better.

1. Currently Halo coins are not for sale as the ICO has ended, but they will be available on exchanges after the network goes live on Dec 1st
2. 1,000,000 Halo coins were sold during the ICO
3. Post Development will be funded from revenue created by use of the platform from trading, marketplace etc.

Yea, official response about network launch is neccessary. There is no info about delay, but also no info about launch time. I can get a delay if it's needed to make quality product, but a lack of info is not good for the project

Hi Everyone,

Our apologies for not posting here sooner, we do use Discord as our primary source of information distribution.  That will be changing within the next few days though as we have a community manager coming on board (finally!!!).  His primary responsibilities will be to update all the social media accounts regularly with updates and other information.

I'm not one to sugar coat things much, as I value you all more then to attempt to dance around it.  We have a very aggressive development schedule, which we are committed to.  But we are moving the launch back.  Security and safety have always been paramount for us, and we are still testing, poking, prodding, breaking things internally so that stuff doesn't happen when you have it.  Especially in light of the issues that other wallets have created, such as parity.  I can handle the feedback of a delay, as upset as you all maybe, imagine how we feel after the relentless hours and schedule we have put into it.  What I cannot handle  though is if anyone lost money, or coins because of a flaw we overlooked.  We are auditing our smart contracts again.  We are refining some items in the wallet and UI right now.  The coin code itself is being tested and a few refinements put into place.  Planning for either the 15th, or Jan 1.   Most likely with the holidays and a few other factors it'll be the New Year.

At minimum one week before launch we will send and post all the information required to download, install, and claim your ICO coins.

I will monitor this religiously for the next few days to answer all questions.

I'm not sure why that matters.. those 3 features are very popular features currently and they have brought them to an ETH based coin which nobody else yet has done.

I am worried about the delays but they have communicated constantly and have had setbacks that were clearly documented that were not their fault.. I am still very hopeful. Yes they have aggressive timetables, better than not doing much!

Amazon is a single US company. In the realm of decentralization to have all the masternodes on one service that can be pressured by the US government is a weakness. Think back to how the gov't stopped paypal and others from allowing contributions to wikileaks.

Summary of Key New Features:
-Loading masternodes is much faster now (10 seconds to 3 minutes depending on the speed of your connection and whether or not you are using Lite or Full node).

-Masternode DApp: On the top action bar, there is now a loading bar and progress indicator to show the % progress in synching to the masternode system.

-Masternode DApp: On the top action bar, we added a Withdraw All button to withdraw your masternode rewards with a single click.

-Masternode DApp: On the top action bar, we added a Toggle View button to switch your masternode view between the previous card format and a summary list format.

-Masternode Monitoring screen: Graphs which show the total amount of active masternodes within the network, the current minting pool and current service fee pool.

-Masternode Marketplace: Pending Orders have been re-enabled so you can buy and sell masternode shares once again.

Known Issues and Workarounds:
-It may take 15-20 secs before MN sync begins - sometimes 2-3 mins. But it is working. The indicator (moving bar) and text will disappear if there is an error.

 -Withdraw All Button: Only withdraws rewards for masternodes attached to current Halo Prime. Individual master nodes rewards can still be withdrawn the traditional way if they are not attached to your current Halo Prime wallet.
