I will not accept bitcoin as a salary from a regular job because it is volatile so the value of the bitcoin that i will get is not stable in fiat so i might get a high salary or a very low salary so i don't think that it is a good option for the companies to pay their employees using bitcoin and i will still prefer fiat since it has a fixed value.

It can depend on Rules and regulations of the particular country if bitcoin is not legal tender in country than it will difficult to survive with bitcoins. If i am in the country where bitcoins is legal than i will accept bitcoins as regular salary.
But There will always risk involvement. But also has chance to get more profit as we see price fluctuation in bitcoin value.

No, I won't. Because, Bitcoin's industry is volatile. Any moment the value of a Bitcoin can depreciate and in return it would incur a loss in my side. Since it's decentralized how would you deduct your Government mandated benefits and tax? I know it's an advantage for not paying any taxes but what about other benefits from the Government? A company can't pay the Government in Bitcoin. As well as Bitcoin is not yet legally accepted worldwide.

i just hope this will come true. If bitcoin became the salary for our jobs, there will be equality among all nations, just take a look what had happened in europe, before all countries in europe have different fiats, the highest in value back then I think was pound, then they all accepted euro, in order for them not to exchange anymore there fiat, rather they have one mode of payment which is in euro. I can still remember I read an article way back regarding the start of euro, a man from italy has a lot of saving in his account but when converted to USD, it is still considered small, however when they accepted their money to be converted to euro, in an instant he became rich in someway, if we will also do that with bitcoin, there will no first world country nor third world country, that separates the rich countries from the poor ones, what I see is that, for example if you are a teacher, and all countries that legalized bitcoin decided to give teachers at least .5 bitcoin as their salary, all teachers will receive the same amount of bitcoin, since bitcoin is considered as a global currency, then you can just exchange your bitcoin to fiat if you wanted to, in this way if your parent as teachers, there is no need for them to go offshore just to earn a living and send money home, they will sure to be teaching in your country and be with their family. Let's all hope that this idea will come to reality soon, since everyone will be willing to accept bitcoin as payment for their job and just convert it to their fiat if they see fit.

Saving the salary received will really bring a good profit now.

what would be the point of it then?!! if you are planning to exchange it to fiat then you are just wasting your time and adding an additional fee to your plan. if you sell on exchange, there is 1 trading fee taken a percentage of your size and 1 withdrawal fee depending on your method it will be big. if you sell p2p and other methods to get the local currency you will be selling under the market price. in both cases you lose a big chunk of what you have earned!

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

yes! It don't matter to me since BTC has also a value converted to real money. the only disadvantage is when your BTC information got hacked and somebody would cash it out.

I do not want, because the bitcoin price is not stable. it will harm me, when bitcoin prices go down. easier payment with real money. I use bitcoin just to make a profit, nothing else

The price is to volatile to really consider BTC for a salary. I could only imagine the paperwork from the payroll side of things to. Every week or every two weeks your BTC amount would change. A more stable coin like LTC would be a better choice, but not BTC.

If Bitcoin I get a wage of course I will accept it. Especially now it's hard to buy and really many people want to save it. Because we really have a chance to earn a lot of money here. This is due to the succession of Bitcoins. Increasingly receiving payments and even slight falls due to the total banning of ICOs and suspension of exchangers still hold bitcoins to rise. That's better because we're more comfortable with buying bitcoins. And as soon as it gets bigger then we have a profit.

My question, to anyone who has knowledge of getting paid directly in BTC - do you negotiate your salary directly in BTC/year, or in some USD of BTC per year?
For the former, let's say you negotiate a salary of 100 BTC/year. If you negotiated this in January 2016 it would have been close to $100,000 per year. But now you'd be making over $400,000 per year. The upside would be tremendous. But obviously the downside would be huge, large enough that if Bitcoin crashed you might just quit your job.
On the other hand, if you said pay me $100,000 worth of BTC per year, it's not clear what the upside of that would be. It'd be safer, but it wouldn't be fundamentally different from just getting paid USD directly.

It doesnt matter anymore which country provide the online job as long as it is bitcoin i will be paid for it will go into my bitcoin wallet. Same thing as what we are doing here. We do the services and they pay us in bitcoin or altcoin.
