There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Typical, new pow coin gets released and everyone hops on board making it harder and harder. Was good mining it a week ago,  now it's very meh. Miners just hoping to dump as soon as it gets listed in cryptopia.

I like crypto

UPDATES

Thank you community for the continued support!  We are in the process of writing a Community Paper that will outline a lot of the community vision that is already being seen on this forum and other information.

As you may have seen, whattomine.com will be encouraged to list us as soon as we hit one of the supported exchanges.  So far, currently our best shot seems to be Yobit.  Once we hit Yobit, we can hit whattomine and also get listed on coinmarketcap.com once trade volume reaches over 10k a day.  We've already seen about 1 btc of trade volume if not mistaken.
So it will be something like Yobit -> Whattomine -> Coinmarketcap once >10k USD trade a day.

We have a discord open at https://discord.gg/JKZChD for those of you reluctant to use Slack.  We are looking into utilizing a bridge bot to link Slack and Discord to keep communication channels as open as possible.

The explorer at explorer.bitcoinz.site and btczexplorer.blockhub.info grew out of its initial resources and we added more resources overnight to address usage.

We are looking into mobile wallet solutions, we have a community developer who has been working diligently to find a solution.  Please help get the attention of mobile wallets like Jaxx or even hardware wallets like TREZOR. Personally, I'm not informed on whats involved to get Jaxx listed or hardware wallet listed.

We will update https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz/issues/15 with latest.  Community, please continue what you are doing.  We have enjoyed great progress.  Come participate!

EDIT: BarterDEX is still testing. They have a lot of coins on their service and my understanding is they are building a GUI to be released soon for usability.  It will be great to do crypto-for-crypto exchanges.

I would look at Ledger for hardware wallet support, they already support zcash so should be easier to port,Trezor are updating there hardware so not adding any new coins for moment I heard,I use Ledger nano s and it’s a fantastic wallet supporting many different coins, been using nano s for sometime now and it’s great

BTW,

today I've registered the DNS www.bitcoinz.cash .
One week ago I've started by coincidence to mine BTCZ,
after one week I see this coin as an upcoming popular coin.
