According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Well I must say I don’t understand how anyone could not be impressed by development in last 30 days of this project,perhaps poster failed to research bitcoinZ before posting and familiarise himself with community,from what I see we are going from strength to strength but with success in crypto there will always be FUD,I want to thank the devs for bringing us BitcoinZ and staying true to the fundamentals of Bitcoin and blockchain tech,this is an exciting project that’s growing fast with volunteers I’m sure we can look at funding for development down the road I noticed some great ideas posted above and slack/discord channels are full of info and great ideas for moving forward.

the difference between transparent adress and private adress!:?
tAddress is transparent - visible by network
zAddress is anonymous - but it requires lot of RAM to make transaction, and cant be used with exchanges and mining pool (if im not wrong)

How to implement BTCZ on my z-nomp pool?

If I change this code:

var amount = satoshisToCoins(zBalance - 10000); // why is it changed?
// unshield no more than 100 ZEC at a time
if (amount > 20000.0)
amount = 20000.0;

would it be enough?

In configuration file for zcash there is "txfee": 0.0004. Should I set it to "txfee": 0.4?

"txfee": 0.0004 is good.

Interesting coin here. I've started mining it but how come when I send bitcoinz from the web wallet I keep getting a status error code 400?

Is the web wallet just temporarily down or do i need to use the windows app?
