Is ETN a scam?
Answer: NO, I don't think it's a scam.
Why: It's a UK based company, they welcome everyone to their headquarters to see how they're working their butts off to get the failed launch going asap. You can find youtube videos of several people who actually went there. They've hired one of the best internet security companies in the world to do a full scan and if necessary fixes. They're actively updating on social media, they're not trying to hide from us. These are all very positive signs!

So YES, under-prepared 1st launch.
But NO, not a scam.

Like all ICO's, you can win or lose money if you've invested here.
To me it feels like there are loads of people for whom this was their first ICO, and they thought this would go 10x - 50x within days and now feel angry or disappointed that they're not rich yet. But that doesn't mean that they won't get their ETN's within a few weeks.. and from there it's game on, good luck everyone..

You do not have to do much research on google to know that the united kingdom has become the home of HYIP's and scam sites.

But this is not the point, the point is that the project has a good idea? No doubt! However, no one sees anything beyond the idea plan and mining simulations completely challenging the blockchain network.

I do not think 100% is a premeditated SCAM. I think it was thought idealistically and very poorly executed. The guys were not able to keep their account safe on the first day! This is very bizarre for anyone who wants to revolutionize the art of mining! Everyone today has doubts if they have the least capacity to execute a minimum percentage of the original idea.... let's be realistic!

I think they are not sure what to do ... they are lost and when this happens with 55 million dollars (current btc), I think that already must be rethought the plan, at least in the minds of some. I've seen this happen in some ICOs ...

I perfectly understand the affliction who invested their savings in this section many of them driven by the great pressure of digital media via youtubers ... I am sorry but I see no future in the execution although the idea is interesting and challenging... not for those rich jumbled guys!

If you think that there's something fishy with this project like managers are in idle to do there work, not updated spreadsheets for a long time or not giving the right amount of rewards for the bounties, then it might be a scam hehehe

I always thought 'scam' was a strong word, it probably started out fine but they're been so hazy over what has happened and no-one really knows but the people who are defending it so vehemently are the ones who did invest in the ICO - fortunately I was not one of them, but I am watching just in case it does take off.

It's a simulation (lol), no seriously, they're going to simulate mining but not actually do it. That's how they get around 'mobile mining', as you will recall MinerGate launched a mobile miner that could do XMR a while ago and it did actually exist and work (but slowly). It also means centralisation as their servers have to hand the tokens out for each connected user. And make sure someone isn't emulating tons of phones on a computer. But they couldn't protect their website from a DDoS attack on launch day...

Electroneum is definitely not to be confused with Ethereum, even though for a cynic, someone would say the name was deliberately similar... Ethereum is obviously an excellent blockchain with a great community behind it and some very promising technology. Electroneum is currently mostly a Monero clone with some mobile vapourware and flowery claims about what it can maybe do 'sometime soon'.

I think that it's a scam to be honest. They might stay alive long enough for people to pump then dump the coin though they will not use that $40 million on the stuff they were talking about.

Beware of anything like electroneum. I have only heard bad things about it. Most ICOs/Altcoins/Forks are just outright scams dude. Do not pay attention to them, seriously.

I do not think that electroneum is a scam, they've faced many difficulties but they've been open and transparent about them, I think in time they'll solve these issues and move forward to being a great success.
