Guess the newbies to this learned that dag file gets rather big with such a low blocktime, and now they changed it after a couple months of running, this is a kinda big deal. dont promise 10s "forever" until all coins havce been mined and then change it after 5% runtime. thats bad. i want to jump off right now seeing how devs cant keep their original promise.

The 10 second block time is simply a mistake in calculation, the code hasn't been changed from the beginning (as far as i know)
14 second block time means the coin itself now has higher value because of lower emission rate

Just realize market forces. These market 1 year ago was at 20B$. It was middle - not high, but also not super low (now you think it was, from perspective yes, but it wasn't super cheap - only some were cheap).
2 years ago market had 4B$ cap. And now guess who have most liqudity, and were selling into suckers rally in december? Yeah those that were in 1-2 years ago.
