The tokens will be transferable when the ICO ends. More information about exchanges and the like will become available around that time as well. |

Hi guys. Really like the idea and wish you all the best! I have one query though.
Has there been any thought put in on what will happen when people start uploading copyrighted content? Will there be a DMCA process notice? How will users be prevented from uploading copyrighted content in order to keep the big guys happy and avoid legal actions towarss the platform?
Also how will you prevent adult content from being uploaded? People will abuse the system if they can. Will there be someone monitoring what is uploaded? Also once something is uploaded how easy will it be to be taken down? Being on a peer to peer bittorent type of fileserver how would it be deleted from everyone who is sharing it?

Hi there! Thanks for the words of support! Illegal content will be discouraged since you are required to lock in tokens to upload, and you are disincentivized if your video gets blocked from the platform (note: not network). There will be curators that will filter the feed as well and will be rewarded for this. For adult content, they will be rated by uploaded settings. They will place several levels (e.g. nudity 1-5) and users can choose how they filter the videos in their feed e.g. I want my feed to display nudity 3, all nudity 4-5 will not be included in my feed. Regarding deletion of videos, they will simply be based on demand, and if nobody wants to watch the video, it will not be hosted on the network, only on the uploader's computer as the sole seeder, until more people want to watch it. If you are blocked on the platform, it is less likely to be watched and hosted on the network. |

His new project, Flixxo, is a video sharing network, which employs distributed storage and BitTorrent protocol to store and share the content.
Flixxo launched a token sale campaign on October 24 which will end in 30 days or once the hard cap of 75,000 ETH is reached.

Flixxo takes a good 3 million miles to get there and I think that they will pass 5 million, but the environment and the ico frenzy that we have become this way. But it's still possible to collect 5 million, in fact, I think it will explode again in the last days. It reaches 10k without difficulty. It can even see 11-12k.

So I didn't read 20 pages of reactions. Sorry if I'm asking what has already been asked. This is already a very disruptive technology and proposal. My question is not about the concept itself. Is there any indication or are there first responses of providers like netflix/showtime/hbo etc that they are interested in using this service?
Nothing withholds them from creating their own similar tech for distribution. I was hoping for this development to happen but there is a reason for such companies not to share media on such services. It's a risk and an opportunity for then to lose or gain marketshare/viewers.
