Thanks you for your question. As Flixxo uses peer-to-peer and Bittorrent technology there is no real server costs involved for 'hosting' the content. The community or 'network of seeders' will keep the content available for everyone. This is incentified as seeders can earn from the proceeds of said content.

As for moderation, the author will have to 'stake' some Flixx to actually be able to host his content in the network this content. Reward for said uploaded content is also locked for a period of time in case of a dispute, making it less likely for someone to upload inappropriate content. The team is still working on other moderation systems.

The like and value economy will be maintained and powered by smart contracts. That being said, Flixxo did for example also partner up with iExec for smooth video playback.
