According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Just yeasterday i was sugested to fallow this project when i asked my telegram frieds about huge future projects Cheesy its glad to have u guys at bitcointalk ! Smiley i liked the idea to make bots accessable for more ppl, this will scale the disbalance which is effecting markets now Smiley Will try to share my thoughts more when i digest the white paper

Every day more eager for the real use of this project and its algorithms, my losses increase every day in my investments and purchase orders, I hope to use your Bots soon and increase my earnings. Following

I have the same problem. I try to trade on the exchange on my own, I constantly get losses and disappointments. I want to try to work through bots.
I guess it's easier to trade using bots, so as long as your level of expertise in the investment financial sector is intermediary. On the other hand, newbies will have a difficulty time preceding.

I would say that experienced human trader will always beat bots but not many users can say that they are experienced. Biggest advantage of bot is that he don't need to sleep and he never panics

Active trading on average performs worse than passive, buy-and-hold. But you often hear success stories from active traders, who should be accounted to for by survivor bias, and especially from brokers! who earn commission from every trade. Intuitively, almost every trader will claim he can beat the average.

If NaPoleonX can combine passive investing with infrequent trades to avoid the biggest losses and lock in the highest gains, their bots could become the ideal investors. (Until more advanced bots recognize their patterns and use those against them, that is Tongue)

I agree, combine passive investing with infrequent trades - good strategy, and I think that the behavior patterns of the bot should adapt to new situations. NaPoleonX team have great algorithmic strategies specialist - Stéphane IFRAH with a huge work experience in this domain

They talked about possibly letting the Community do a vote on another term. Someone suggested OIL, i suggested SPARK. I hope they will do such a community vote  Grin

bot is better - he trades by a well-defined algorithm, but human is passionate  - something went wrong as expected - it gives in to panic, and makes mistake , for this reason this project will be very useful

algorithm can just support a trader or your algorithm is an AI from the future big data and neuro learning feature. the positive aspect of using emotions in trading is called intuition.

Well, there is no really such thing as intuition.

Everything is based in previous experience, intuition is just a thing that recall you a previous experience and you judge the outcome superior to the risk taken.

So, trading bot backed by neural network would be surely way better than human. It just need the technology to study all the source of information a human has access to.

I don't remember his name but there was a Russian chess player who beat best computer with best AI. I know that this was a long time ago but still it's a good example. My biggest motivation is that Napoleon will trade without me so I can do other things  Cool

If the bot will work on a certain algorithm, experienced traders will be able to calculate its actions, but for people who have no time the bot will be useful.

I think it was a loss. There is no way to win against computer on chess now, they can calculate every possible outcomes in less than a second, a human is nothing in compareason.

In fact, the guy you re reffering too is kasparoff, and it was in 1997. He won the first match and loosed the second.

On average? Do you mean when it's done by bots or with a human with the knowledge of technical analysis? Most of these "traders" don't have a clue on how to trade, i understand why they would be doing better with holding, because eventually almost everything goes up, as it goes down. It's just with very slow frequenzy. Problem with hodling is that most holders don't have a clue when to sell. Because they don't know that with higher frequenzy trades either, they will eventually lose money with both tactics.

Will the bot always bring profit?
Then the bots will displace real people more and more if the bots develop.
And start trading between the bots, whose bot advanced that will win Cheesy

And remember that we will be able to invest in different Daf, so you can adopt different strategie. If you don't like the way that a bot trade, you will be able to switch to anothers Daf with another trading possibility.

No, the bots or DAFs won't always bring profits, they may learn over time, but not always, when that happens, they won't spend gas, until they bring returns; about the part where people are trading between bots, nobody, you don't fight with other bots when you trade, if not, you will end up dumping the price when you want to pump, or pumping when you want to dump, bots act according to the market, your funds, your strategy, your limits, etc. each DAF, even if they are the same, have different accounts using them, so at most both will win, but less.

So, if I hold my tokens and not use them for bots. Will I earn profit from the bot fee?

By the way, this is a good question! I also join him. Actually, I thought that the holders would also make a profit, but now I'm not sure, I would like to know definitely.
As far as i know you can get profit from the gas bots will be using to make transactions.

You mean there will be another currency like GAS is for neo holders?

No for all transactions napoleon bots would take some fee. Not really a gas, they were looking for a different name actually.

I was just giving an example of GAS. So, there will be another currency for the profit distribution.

There will be two tokens, NPX y DAF token, the DAF tokens will be the GAS, like NEO has GAS as another token, each DAFs (set of bots and strategies) consumes DAF tokens to function, 85% will go to the token holders that participated in the voting session that selected the set of bots and strategies that will be part of the DAF that generated said GAS, so If you want to get dividends for holding, you MUST participate in the voting process of the particular DAF or DAFs that will pay you,

Thanks for the info. This was what I needed to know.
So, I as a NaPoleonX hodler have to participate in voting to earn the DAF.

I don't think it is possible.

But in long-term, I believe it will be at the positive side of the scale.
