Has anyone ever used a pcie 1x extender and then added a x1 to x16 riser on top of that?
I searched for it but maybe my google-fu isn't strong enough.
I have a short x1 to x16 riser, I was hoping to that I just just add an extender instead of buying a completely new one.

My pc sits about 2 foot above my miners. I've got pcie 1x (into the mb) to usb3 then to gain the extra distance I used a couple of usb3 extention cables to get me to the x16 gpu risers. I dunno if this would be useful to you.
