Based on the consulting sessions that were held this week between the farmers’ cooperative LavkaLavka and “NP RTS” Association, it was decided to extend the ICO of LavkaLavka. Partners have agreed to this because of the desire to get to the “sandbox” of the Bank of Russia. And also because of the inquiries from the investors. The change of the time line is not going to affect the project’s road map.
Here is the official statement by “NP RTS” and LavkaLavka on this matter: on September 22, 2017, “NP RTS” Association and farmers cooperative LavkaLavka signed an agreement for the strategic partnership and holding of an ICO with a subsequent token circulation on Voskhod platform.
Shortly before the date of the ICO start the government of the RF and The Bank of Russia received an assignment from the President of the RF to create a structure on the basis of the Central Bank for «approbation of innovative financial technologies, products and services” in order to identify additional risks. Voskhod had expressed a desire to participate in the work of the “regulatory sandbox.”
After going though all the necessary procedures in accordance with the testing
regulations set by regulatory and supervisory authorities, Voskhod platform is going to be ready to place the electronic assets of the farmers’ cooperative LavkaLavka. The expert appraisal of the demand for purchases of crypto assets by LavkaLavka on Voskhod platform is now more than 100 million.
At this moment the collections from the ICO have gone over 9 million dollars; BioCoin is traded on a few international platforms and their number will increase in December. LavkaLavka’s loyalty system is working in the test mode and Biocoins are already accepted. The fully operational system should start working in winter 2017-2018.
Based on the first stage of the ICO, LavkaLavka is continuing to develop the sales system of the farmers products, which is reflected in the ICO prospectus. In the nearest time there will be a start of a new project that will allow farmers from the cooperative to sell large volumes of products though new wholesale sales channels of LavkaLavka where Biocoin would be actively used.
Boris Akimov, the founder of the farmers cooperative LavkaLavka, states: “We think that in the interest of current and future investors we need to let the original plan be implemented and enter the first legal electronic platform in Russia. Few days ago BioCoin was named the first legal token in the country by the expert group under the direction of Elina Sidorenko. To have that supported by the entrance to the first legal electronic platform in Russia would be quite right. Secondly, there are investors that are interested in such configuration where BioCoin is traded on Voskhod platform. I think that for additional 100 million biocoins we should really make the effort. This would also give us an opportunity to come closer to our goal of 15 million dollars. And third, the stance of the Central Bank is very important for us, we are actively ready to participate in the “sandbox”. And since we have been invited over there, we will certainly take the invitation.”
LavkaLavka will announce details on the extension of the time line for the ICO and realization of new projects in the nearest days after rounds of consultations with the “NP RTS” Association and the Central Bank. Besides that, all the BioCoin buyers will be invited to vote and chose one of the schedules for the ICO time line extension.
