Ethereum is better for long term invest?
Please share your valuable opinion.
Yes, definitely. I would really prefer etherium for long term rather than short term. The price of etherium is moving up and down. It reached above $380 plus and then go down again at $200 plus. That would be bad for short term gain. But the long term goal of ETH is 4 figures in dollars. For long term i would probably agree too that Eth has it potentially next for btc but who knows and we dont know what can really happens even there is a good thing that Eth can show but how can we predict or how can us be sure of that we cant say it that it could be but believing that it can. |

Agree with you, I choose to hold ethereum for long time period investment. For the last year, I try to trade ethereum but only loss I got. That's why I change my style, trading becomes investment. Even only 10% for a month, I think this is the best way. Now, with only an hour a day, get no stress and profit 10% a month become my reason for long time period investment ethereum. Thank you. |

Yes, I do agree ethereum might be a good altcoin for long term investment, looking at how the price of most altcoins that is heavily traded daily, most of their values have been rising over the past few years, when ethereum becomes more popular in future, I do believe the price of ethereum will surge to another high record.

a long term investment is something that goes up in long term! but that is a very simple explanation of it. in fact a long term investment is something that is consistently rising over long term and if it has any drops then they are temporary before the rise continues.
this definition is not at all compatible with how ETH is performing.
look at its charts. the price is slowly dropping with little jumps then more drop. then there is a pump which only lasts about a month or two. then the dropping continues...
something that is going down in general and rising only in a short term once in a while can NOT be a good long term investment. it is only a short term investment and that only during that "rising period" which we call a pump.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Eth works for both long term investment and short term since the developers are wuite active and every now and then its value changes. However, long term investment for eth is best. Eth have a very great potential and i firmly believe that its value will constantly increase in the next few days. So holding on to your eth for a longer time would be more worth it.

If you want my sincere opinion, the fundamentals do not seem solid to me. If someday they reach mass adoption, their blockchain might not be able to handle the transactions, even with PoS and Sharding. If you want more detailed analysis, there are plenty of experts who confirm what I just said.

Ethereum is at $300 per eth and could still increase in the future since it has no market cap. It is also us as a platform for many ICO's so chances are, if bitcoin were to reach a long slump, ethereum would take it's place as it is the 2nd most established coin.

But there is a lot of development with Ethereum. When Raiden update arrives this will solve many issues. I think it will allow 50,000 times more transactions. So this will address the speed question and network being clogged with ICOs. |
