I'm looking for good ICO's to invest. What would make a good stable ICO?

I am not looking for an overly developed ICO, but focusing on upcoming, and newly developing ICO with great ambitions.

Before I do that, I just want some advice in determining a good ICO.

Any thoughts?

Ico related to the 4th industry is good. And, above all, the ico of a project that can be used by anyone more than an unrealistic (not much used) ico is superior.

So you are saying that ICO projects that can be easily utilized are worth investing? I agree that unrealistic scam projects are being spontaneously advertised but it's hard to differentiate realistic & unrealistic projects unless it is discussed in depth. Reading every white papers are time-consuming. What would you look at the most when it comes to determining a good project? The team? the philosophy? practicalness? I know this is a broad question but what characteristics would you look at? Thanks for the reply!

My advise is to research every single ico you are interested in by yourself. Search the forum on what you should watch out to lower the chance to invest in a scam ico. Other, educate yourself first will take you 2 - 4 weeks. Do not speed invest with little knowledge in any ico...

ICO that gets adopted by the mainstream everyday people will live the longest and have the biggest growth potential because of the large userbase. This is where Centra comes in.  They are creating a debit card where you can go to any store / restaurant / ATM and spend your crypto instead of cash.  Need fiat cash?  Go to any ATM and convert your crypto to fiat cash.  This enables the common person next door who has no idea what crypto is to easily use crypto bring mass adoption to crypto.

Why Centra you ask?  It will be the first to market with real working cards that will work all over the globe.  The first batch of cards was shipped and should be arriving to people this week and we will get too see people start using their debit cards!  Join the white list and get into the ICO!

If your saying that you are not looking for an overly developed ICO then you are wrong  , to make the ICO as good as it can be , the team had to develop it as far as it can to become successful. For an advice in determining a good ICO , you must first read their whitepaper or go to their website to know more about their project and if a problem occurs tgey respond as soon as possible to solve the problems, they are also easy to interact or communicate with. If they have a SLACK ,that is the best way to communicate with them.

Something that is a genuine project with a good roadmap and whitepaper that makes sense, and a genuine use for it to fulfil. These things become apparent during research though, so best advice is to research anything that you are interested in.

It would be a good step to study and and make all possible research about certain ico you got an interest to invest. Since there are lots of ICOs coming this days its quite hard to pinpoint whats good and what not but making some reading are big help assesing them.

To find a good ICO is really difficult because you have to evaluate that project across all media, slack channel, reddit, fb, twitter, ... this will give you a better view of 1 A potential ICO project and you will consider investing in that project if it can help you make a profit.

Try reading whitepaper provided an ico. Look for ico who has a lot of interest in the pre-ICO and look the people who are the team in the ico is look for a professional and experienced team in managing ico because a team that can raise enthusiasts an ico. The last one compares between the total coin and the division of the gift program because if the supply of bounty is too large it will affect the price of the coin when in the market

Make sure the team behind the project is solid. That their idea offers something unique and that it has not been introduced before, check as well the competition. Who are the competitors, what do the offer? Ask yourself questions like that before investing

Ask yourself one question while looking at the white paper: Why on earth should that token hold any worth? Most of the time, there is no answer meaning the token is essentially worthless (because they are not securities).
Sometimes there will be a credible value proposition. This is where you should invest.

People here a too focused on social media and tech. F*** that. For example, XRP has great tech and even if all the banks in the world adopted this tech, the token would never be worth much. Why? Because they won't use it. And with the XRP token you don't own a share in the tech or company.

First we need to understand is the Whitepaper they have. Whitepaper obviously will be very important for investors, because it contains every vision, mission, and people who are the team inside. If they think their vision and mission match with our thinking, we can invest some of our money to ICO terse

There is a simple criterion for judging whether an ico is good or not, that is the ico can make profits for you, i see many people participate in OMG ico, but they didnt earn much indeed, why? they didnt look forward to this project and participate in with no firm beliefe, so i think an ico may be not as important as we think to make money

There is no stable ico. If you are seeing about HUT34 and i think that should be considered as the promising ico which a lot of people already interested with it. You can try to see in the announcement thread and just see a lot of feedback in there.

The price of the token when it goes (and stays) to an exchange is decided by the use of it.
So, study their whitepaper to know what the scope of the token is and how applicable would it be in real life use.

In my own opinion it should be something unique and would people use in the long run. To know which ICO is a good investment nowadays needs a bit of your time as you need to research and read about the company and its developers. Sounds like a lot of homework, but if you are really serious about it then you got no choice but to check everything about it.

An ICO with a real project (check if they are active on social networks), with deadlines, with a real white paper and specific facts about what they want to do.
You'll have to check if what they tell you is true, and after that... pray

You should begin to put money before the ICO ends, only invest a small amount then make another purchase after the ICO when you finally decide that you want the coin.

Also look out for ICOs that are trading below their ICO price due to market conditions. You still have to do your diligence on the company, but sometimes you can find a bargain. A good example is the recently ICOed Blackmoon Crypto. Fantastic fundamentals, heavily undervalued due to the recent drop in ETH/BTC.

The team behind a project is the most important thing, if the pedigree of successes in blockchain projects is there in the past is there it can be more assuring, More like it is any company fronting it. Idea matters but in whose hands?, Have seen good Ideas fail but it is difficult for good ideas to fail with a good team

While I agree that the people behind whatever project is a vital part of the road to success, people quite often focus too much on that aspect. As with everything, when big money is involved, and with the current ICO craze that's definitely the case, even the best possible team might end up going into a different direction with false/negative motives. At the end of the day, regardless of the people behind it, investing in ICO's remains more or less a gamble....

Good ico is one where they have software that you can use, to verify that they can develop.

Not only do most projects have no software, many of them have not released any software after months or years after raising multi-million $.

EOS raised $200 million and said that they were going to release something by end of summer.  Nothing yet.

Gnosis raised $12.5 million and their website says that they are releasing their game by first half of 2017.  Nothing yet.

Qtum raised $15.6 million.  I don't see anything produced on Qtum's website.

After raising $50 million, Cosmos's website is still pitching its white paper.  Come on.  What have they produced with that $50 million?

MobileGo raised $53 million.  Here's the roadmap from their white paper:

Quote
May - June: Gamecredits Mobile Store Public Launch
May - June: Gamecredits accepted for mobile store games and in- game content purchases
July - August: first centralized tournaments on platform

However, I don't see any of that on their website.  They're mainly bragging about how their token is on exchanges.  What are they doing?  Day-trading their own token?

Watch out for ICOs that come from corrupt countries, where ethics and honesty are lax:

But do not be arbitrary in choosing ico to invest because there are many ico who go into scam. then you should do picky and reasrch first before choosing a good ICO for you to buy. research can you start by looking at their ann thread, is it they have a team and a clear and great purpose. innovative idea or not?

Research and as much as possible know the development team background, there are lot of seems legit but in the end turns into scam, some were just failed on not reaching their target yet they are really a legit one.

I my opinion a good ICO has the following things.

1. A clearly defined team which is backed by known advisors and people associated with crypto and related things.
2. A goal which is practical and not too exaggerated and has potential source of economic growth in future as well. The idea shaping it must be new and out of the box though in most cases this is may not happen. Transparency between the project development and the investors is something that is lacking in ICOs these days.
3. Working on a field where other projects could not develop or make a mark on and has potential ability to develop it further.
4. A token that can meet these demands and would be profitable to the investors when traded on exchanges.
5. A responsive support team.

These are what I think make a good ICO, but these are the ideal situation and may not happen in every ICO. Only invest money that you are willing to lose and never invest more than what you can afford.

I think you summed it all up really well. Also I like to go for ICO's that concern a domain that I personally am interested in.

Key factors for good ICO:
1 – Team Composition
2 – Bitcointalk.org Thread
3 – Stage of the project and VC investments
4 – Community and Media
5 – What do they need the token for? Is the blockchain necessary?
6 – Unlimited / Hard cap
7 – Token distribution – when and how
8 – Evaluating the Whitepaper
9 – Quality of the code – Meet Githhub

Augur stacked their team with advisors, including Vitalik Buterin, the most known advisor.  They raised $5 million near the beginning of 2015.  After 2.5 years, they only have a simple beta demo for testing.  StockBet, without having raised anything yet, already has an app that has more features.

Hi Cheesy As for me, the best and the most promising project is Crypto.tickets. It will be a new era in ticket selling Wink Wink
Idea is very great, guys have a huge experience and they already have a 100% product Ticket.cloud!! Shocked Shocked I like such projects and always recommend just the best Grin Grin
If you are interested in this project, follow this website and read more about them.
  https://crypto.tickets/

Can't understand the sense of using blockchain for tickets selling. Moreover there are too many competitors at this area.

My advice is to try find as legit ICOs as it could be. Check out japanese COMSA ICO. Despite of my signature (I participate at their bounty program) I'm sure that it is not scam 100%. Moreover, it has VERY GOOD TEAM, whitepaper and community.

In order to identify a good ICO, the project must have a good team and a strong enough community to promote the project to markets, products and platforms that are less competitive than other projects.

I am not good in analyzing a potential ICO. For me I am still consulting ICO review sites like: icobench, icorating, etc. to check for a good upcoming ICO.

I also check if the ICO has a website.. ofcourse they must be able to afford to pay a developer to build their website. They must have a good and prominent people, adviser in their team.

I'm looking for good ICO's to invest. What would make a good stable ICO?

I am not looking for an overly developed ICO, but focusing on upcoming, and newly developing ICO with great ambitions.

Before I do that, I just want some advice in determining a good ICO.

Any thoughts?

This depends on each particular project, and the team behind the project. Choosing a good ICO is absolutely necessary because it will determine whether you are profitable or losing money. First read about the white paper of the ICO project, see the value of altcoin on the site, learn about the project development team, if they are famous and well known, it will be very good and special it needs a clear blockchain. If there are separate cold storage, the better. You need to find out before you decide to invest, otherwise the risk of loss will be high Cheesy

Yeah, I agree, also that team is very important. If you see that some or even all of the members of the team behind the project you are investigating have already made a lot of successful businesses, that can be a very good sign meaning that they would hardly create or in any other way get involved into a project just for nothing. However, it's still blockchain, so a strong blockchain expertise is definitely a must-have and must be well represented within a successful ICO team of leaders and (or at least) advisors.

I think that this is very subjective. everyone has different passions and views, but everyone wants to earn), so you need to look for projects for yourself.. in what area do you interested?

I agree with you there are many similar ICO projects but among them very few ICO projects have other ideas. I think investing in these projects will be more secure because they are less competitive than other projects

I can name the ICO's who have good ideas and teams aswell with marketings and those are U-trust,Centra and Cindicator and this will be the ICO coin that must fun to watch since it was been introduce well by those big names on online industry. But I'm looking for more coins who are good but I don't really see some good coins at the moment.

when I decide to invest, I research how professional the team is and whether they have advisors from leaders of branch, how realizable the roadmap is, how they are progressing and how many people have already invested in them. And, of course, bounty companies))
mm! it is still important how much their coin fits into the current system (the possibility of normal exchange). Something like this.
