Whoa! Zero trading fees now that's something new for the exchanges. Will it be zero fees for all the trading pairs or just a few?

How you can make profit from exchange with 0 fee.
This ^^ If it does not indicate some way to generate revenue, I don't see how an exchange can survive. Which then begs the question: how long will it survive, before turning to some possibly underhanded funding method, or disappearing with clients' funds...

This is really new one concept which never existed in other exchanger. I expect not a few but for all crypto currency. But I still do not understand how this exchanger will take advantage without trading fees or maybe the withdrawal fees is a bit expensive. What is the algo?
There's no algo, this project seems using ethereum platform.

Here's one of COBINHOOD's revenue comes from, ICO underwriting, we charge 5% of the new issuing tokens.
For the ICO publisher, we solve their liquidity issue, right after ICO the new issued token would be tradable in our exchange. The other exchanges are not willing to list new token, the ones accept new tokens charge unreasonable fees.
For the COB holders, COB holders would get the exclusive and super low price to buy the new issued tokens. Let's say today COBINHOOD underwrite FileCoin, COB holders can but FIL with super low price by COB.

Is this ICO based in China? Isn't all new ICO banned there?
EDIT: "Due to existing regulations we are unable to accept participation from citizens of United States, Canada, China and Taiwan." from their website faq.
