I think that's an interesting idea, definitely could be a good way to jumpstart the pool. I'm impressed with the pool hashrate as of this morning keep up the great work earned more Zen on your pool in half a day compared to a day of mining with suprnova / luckpool / minez.zone last night of course mileage varies but just the fact that that happened is very impressive in it's own right

I could get the KSol/s for individual workers using .workers[].hashrateString so I was wondering why .totalHash showed something like 5540507811.

I tested zhash.pro for 2 days already and, to my pleasure, found out that the results exceeded whattomine forecasts by 14% min (there are still unpaid blocks), and the avg speed of my rigs matched the real miner figures unlike the other popular pool. Think it's a good reason for me to stay with zhash and recommend the others to use it. Good luck mining to all of you!

Tested zhash.pro for 1 day and it's for now best. Almost same output as whattomine stated. Difference is 0.002 ZEN which is ok for me. On suprnova it was like 0.2 ZEN less.

Same problem on block 172615. I think that something is wrong on pool side bcs if you see Miners stats you get numbers from 41-101 miners that got payment from blocks. If you check Miners on Zen Pool Stats it says 122 now but it's never less then 100.

Really dont know what is amount from missed blocks. I didnt look all the time. I wanted to check stats and payments because of comparation with Suprnova when i noticed unpaid blocks (5-6 maybe more unpaid blocks just this day. I cant check all tx because payment management on your pool dont allow to check 2 or more linked tx like 172442,172443,172449) and i know that my miner was connected to pool.

No, if after block is found you received 0.05 zen it goes first to immature balance and after confirmation to the balance (bal in your stats page) and still on your unpaid
balace until your amount reach 0.1 zen.


Right now on your immature balance is 0.2373 so it will be paid with next payouts and not with one tx (this immature balance for last 4 blocks), because pool pays max 3 blocks per one tx.
So whats not paid will immatured and if not reach 0.1 showed in balance.

Suppose on you immature balance 0.05 zen, after block will be confirmed it will shown on you balance section, so that's why you can't find your wallet on some blocks payout

The next payouts should give you your 0.2373 zen for these blocks

And form 2 last blocks all rewards goes to miners!

It's ok, don't punish about that, it's ok but the profit will be lower in a case of pplnt reduce shares if your don't mine at least  51% time of the block's round, for best profit mine until the block will found by pool during current round, then you can turn your gpu for gaming

Hello! Don't forget about user who have some unpaid balace lower than 0.1 zen, it's unpaid and will paid when balance reaches 0.1 zen
For example
When block is paid and the earnings lower than 0.1 zen goes to balance but block is paid as it showed on this screen
Thats why you see this diffenrent in total paid amount

And the fee is 0.5% you can verify it on blockchain by clicking the block number in list of the founded block
and you will see our 0.0625 zen fee per block that is 0.5% fee. And don't forget about zen developers fees that is 1.5 zen per block

Look at average hashrate, the current hashrate is jumping, it's normal, for now your avg is 1.13 ksol it needs more time for better calculations.

I'm testing the functionalities of Zhash.pro pool (just with one card...). I like the performance of the pool but have a few Q's:
I noticed yesterday that the total balance (Pending + Balance) reduced without any payments done, why?
I have a balance of 0.03, but not paid yet. Is the payment limit higher (I though it was 0.01), and can it be changed?

I noticed that after incident yesterday on the platform zhash, I resevoir payments 0.1 ZEN every 6 hours.

I cut back on this pool a lot yesterday, now only using 5% of hash power here to see if the issues can be fixed over the weekend.  No word from the admin(s) also isn't great.  It was a pretty nice pool so I'll give them the weekend with a test rig. Also nice to spread the hash around a bit.

As i promised after epic issue with 10 blocks that were kiked into orphanes and removed from database we decided how to pay them fast and i think fair:

Current situation:

110 Zen are on the payout pool's wallet, and no data about them on database, they have stats orphaned

The way out:

On saturday we will add 11 Zen for each found block. These 11 Zen will be distibuted proportionaly for all miners on pool.
There will be 10 rounds with additional 11 Zen rewards. So these 10 blocks will be paid fast, fair and in auto mode.
Tomorrow we will test this payout model on testserver and announce the time of these rounds startup, if miners will accept this plan.

I know it not perfectly fair, in a case that someone could left pool or join it after this issue.

So we want to hear your opinions about this idea

Pool hoppers will be banned if they will try to jump for the short round with rented msols on Nicehash. The round time will be announced in slack

Otherwise I'm good with the idea. Our sols per user divided by the average sols for the past week should be the payout. (to ensure no sudden increase in hashrate)

Ok, the round's time will not announced, you will see these rewards in pending balance and you can track them in payments section, where you'll be able to find the increased amount per block.

Hello, there is should be no problems with reporting, pool shows live stats payments for last 1/3/7 days at the current moment,
what's the difference between payments and stats do you have? For now miners told that's it shows right. If there is a bug we can check and fix it

Also earnings can be more or less than whattomine calculations, in a case of luck factor, daily difficulty and Zen network hashrate changes, but avarage is ok.

All you have to do is download Ublock adblocker and enable it on zhash worker page and the script wont be executed because Ublock adblocker is blocking it.

It's a temporary solution, tommorow they will find a new hole, the only way is to rebuild z-nomp, and I know it's possible to close the hole in nonce for fakes, and rewrite backend and frontend to close the hole for code  injection. And find another solutions for many z-nomp issues

Migration Process



Old and new services will co-exist in order to minimize service loss to the miners. The stratum server addresses will be named as follows.


EU Stratum: eu1.zhash.pro (available 25/01/2018)



US Stratum: us1.zhash.pro (to be announced)



Asian Stratum: asia1.zhash.pro (to be announced)



The zhash.pro domain will continue to be used as a stratum address for at least 2 days after the migration process is completed. Miners are advised to update their mining software to point to the new stratum server address as soon as possible to prevent service loss.



After the 2 day period the zhash.pro domain will be pointed to the ZHash Project main website (redirect to www.zhash.pro).



Miners are advised to stop visiting zhash.pro for pool stats immediately after the migration. The new address for ZEN stats will be zen.zhash.pro.



We can also setup www.zhash.pro on as the main ZHash project site with a coming soon page and simple links to the new pool server address (pool.zhash.pro) and the stratum server addresses.



The domain pool.zhash.pro can be used as a place where miners can get information of all the available pools, displaying basic stats for each pool available.

Can the OP explain the difficulty strategy if vardiff is the new norm, because on some pools vardiff is seriously broken and ends up pegging at the max value regardless of your actual hashrate.

Also we can make a vardiff with low diff difference for example from 8192 to 16384, i think it can solve you problems if you had them with vardiff

My equihash mining rig does 1860 Sols/s and my current ping time is 130ms so I definitely don't want to go too low in difficulty. Your vardiff strategy sounds okay and a 4:1 difference is fine by me, I just don't want to see a 10:1 or greater range in difficulty, especially if it either pegs at the top end of the range (no longer really vardiff at that point) or it keeps oscillating between the highest and lowest values.

Otherwise, I also like fixed difficulty when comparing miners with my two GTX 1080 test rigs, as it reduces the influence of luck in share count.

But these are minor points and so far I am very happy with your ZEN pool!


UPDATE - not sure if there is an actual problem or not, but balance stats are not updating on the new site nor is my balance increasing on the old site so I have halted mining for now.

According lots of questions in Slack - You can use EU  server, US will be online during 2 days, so you will just switch on it without any loss of shares, stats or payments. This are the setting im using on smOS with DSTM miner - i run 3 rigs, 2 x 12 cards and 1x 8 cards... the rigs and cards are exactly the same used on the old zhash.pro servers.

Wonder if i should use a different port?

What's the reason for severe underpayment now? I just resumed mining here yesterday with a hashrate of 1800 Sols/s and in 19 hours I have a balance of 0.073 ZEN with no payouts, when I should have earned 0.195 ZEN in that amount of time - that is only 37% of what is expected!

And you really can't blame pool luck at this point because a block is found every hour and pool hashrate is ~2.5 MSols/s so earnings should be back to normal.

Before the server switch I was receiving the predicted amount of ZEN every 24 hours from your pool, and prior to trying out your pool I was mining ZEC on Flypool with no issues as well, but ever since the new pool went live I have been getting cheated out of >50% of my earnings. Please explain.

What's the reason for severe underpayment now? I just resumed mining here yesterday with a hashrate of 1800 Sols/s and in 19 hours I have a balance of 0.073 ZEN with no payouts, when I should have earned 0.195 ZEN in that amount of time - that is only 37% of what is expected!

And you really can't blame pool luck at this point because a block is found every hour and pool hashrate is ~2.5 MSols/s so earnings should be back to normal.

Before the server switch I was receiving the predicted amount of ZEN every 24 hours from your pool, and prior to trying out your pool I was mining ZEC on Flypool with no issues as well, but ever since the new pool went live I have been getting cheated out of >50% of my earnings. Please explain.

Hello! Tonight we checked everyting on pool we found some issues on it and fixed them, but it was really bad luck and there was no blocks. Now blocks goes well so far.
Network hash and diff are steady now at 45-59 msol and 800k - 1000k diff, so we don't have now 10% of the networks, so we will announce giveaways or bonuses to take more hashrate on pool.
For right now we have 10 blocks in immature.

PPLNT is even worse than PPLNS if the time to find each block varies a lot, so that's not a correction that does you any favors.

I had a very good experience with your pool prior to the server upgrade, but ever since then my results have been far more spotty; for now I am attributing that to technical reasons (e.g. - PPLNT settings) rather than malice.

We are working on making improvements on the pool to increase the rewards and will have results very soon 1-3 days max.

Our goal is to maximize the rewards to the miners and after the improvements we are confident miner earning will match the WTM calculators with a variance of no more than 5-10%

[OUTAGE] ZHash US Stratum - Update 1

As an update, we have restored most of the capacity in our LA2 location. Due to a dark fiber cut in LA, a large potion of transport capacity has been lost. Our team has managed to bring up routes despite limited capacity. We are currently seeing stability return to routes and there does not currently appear to be any packet loss. There may be some increased latency in the interim while full capacity is restored. We will provide further updates as they become available.

Guys, the payouts have been sucking like a gaping chest wound the last few days again. My 2800 H/s is bringing in less than 0.15 ZEN per day on average (instead of 0.26); and in the last 10 hours I've only made 0.03 ZEN (instead of ~0.1). I really like to support smaller pools where possible, but this is getting to be so bad - and so consistently bad - that I am strongly considering switching over to evil Suprnova that has about 80% of the ZEN network hashrate.

UPDATE - I have now made less than 0.1 ZEN in the past 24 hours with 2800 Sols/s... incredible.

UPDATE 2 - the pool kicked me off around 9pm last night when I was still sitting at just under 0.1 ZEN so I switched over to Suprnova and in 11 hours have earned 0.0963 ZEN; pretty much exactly the same as the preceding 36+ hours on Zhash.pro. I'll come back if you fix things, but its going to take more than a daily message that claims "we are finding more blocks than any other similar pool."

Yeah, that's not what I'm talking about. I understand that mining earnings vary with difficulty (and pool luck); what I was saying is that I was making a lot less ZEN per 24 hour period than the calculator on minethecoin.com predicted based on the average 24h difficulty and my average hashrate (which is a very stable 2800 H/s). When the calculator says I should make 0.26 ZEN in a 24 hour period but I only receive 0.1 ZEN then something is very clearly wrong.

Now one particular issue which may or may not have been the pool's fault is that no blocks were found for at least 16 hours then the pool kicked my rigs offline from, presumably, a reboot. While that could be a string of fantastically bad luck, I noticed that by the next morning 2 blocks had been found so I rather suspect there was, indeed, a problem with the pool which the (presumed) reboot fixed.

I want to stress that I understand all too well that computers sometimes misbehave and the proverbial shit happens, but it really irks me to see a message claiming the pool is monitored 24/7 and finding blocks on the very day the pool didn't find a block for 16+ hours and then apparently needed a hard reset...

Like I said before, I'd rather not stay on Suprnova because it consistently underpays by 10-15%, in my experience, and that has been the case for the last 2.5 days (so, nothing has changed there), but I also have to admit I am getting a bit wary of Zhash.pro because it seems to require a lot more vigilance on my part compared to the other 3-4 coins I am mining at any given moment.

Hello, this was a bug in all equihash pools including ZHash.  The patch was applied last week and the pool is fully protected against fake miners.  The pool was being protected against fake miners even prior to the patch by means of constant monitoring for suspicious activity of fake share submission.

Since the patch was applied fake miners are now identified automatically and their shares get removed.  Furthermore, we have an automatic banning system for miners that consistently submit invalid shares.

Block finding now is more consistent and predictable.

Hello Friends, the RAM on the US server was swapped and the server is fully operational.  Since then we have found 4 blocks!!!  Good luck everyone and happy mining

Why are some blocks remaining as pending despite more than 100 confirmations? Yesterday there was 1 block that was still pending with >200 confirmations, another with >150 and today there is currently 1 which is at 101, but only 1 new orphan over the last day, which is what I thought excessive confirmations indicated...

UPDATE - now there are 3 blocks with more than 100 confirmations - 294273, 294277, 294279 - and my balance has not changed in about 6 hours. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result. Clearly, then, I've lost my marbles...

I think you know about difficulties with mining Zen on all small pools!?

So for now i see that BTCP is more profitable and our pools gives 20% than whattomine prediction on BTCP, plus BTCP goes on HitBTC exchages, so i recommend you to try BTCP mining on our pool!
