BTG is just another lame attempt to ride on the Bitcoin fame in 2017. If they truly had an innovating idea they would at least

Forget BTG let's face the future with B2x. do not expect BTG. I did not get good news with BTG.
but because BTG demand for BTC increases, and BTC peaks this year. 

BTG is already gaining a bit of support.
I have some in my coinomi wallet, the
value has risen from around the $150
value to $390, when mining starts there
could be a bit of action!

I did not notice that bitcoin gold is gaining traction in the futures market along with bitcoin cash when the price of bitcoin is in a correction phase,the wait for the wallet is a long one and i expect them to release this month so that we could start trading,on release i expect a big dump like any new coins.

Is bitcoin gold like bitcoin cash..no need to split off your BTC paper wallet etc..... no time limit or other conditions to take these coin off the
snapshot and put on their own individual wallet? right?

How do we go about handling a BTG Wallet/address to mine to when it starts?

Can I safely use this address I've generated with the Coinomi Android wallet running on the bluestaks android emulator?
Or will I loose the mined coins for some reason?

Or should I generate a new wallet upon the launch of the blockchain?

I'm asking this because I'm unsure how it's even possible to begin mining to a wallet that doesn't exist yet on a blockchain that doesn't exist yet...  

What if coins get sent to an address that doesn't exist yet because the wallet does not get its entry in before the pool sends a payment?
Will the wallet automatically make it's entry into the blockchain?  Or will I have to restart it or give it some form of poke?

Go to github.com/btcgpu, click on issues, one of the issues is 'wallets', in that thread they list two public sites that lets u generate wallets and keys offline, and it works.

Of course u can also download the software, and remove two lines in the bgold-daemon.cpp, that disable main-net, then recompile, and run as mainnet, then just do a 'getnewaddress'

It's all good if you just take the time to learn.

 Caution: Because Bitcoin Gold has not yet been released (yes, we have the snapshot but not available nodes yet), we can't broadcast the transaction and the balance is theorical. The snapshot was taken before block 491407 (2017-10-24 01:20 UTC).

should i wait for mainnet to get it or i can do it on some other wallet?
