Hello,
Does anybody know which wallets plan to support the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) friendly fork on October 1st? And what, if anything, should be done by the user?
Does BTG is bitcoin cash or they'r two different coins ? Cannot understand the procces of the so called hard fork. |

That of course has made a lot of the right bitcoin users right now might see another hard fork in last October which makes this another token called Bitcoin Gold. The project was first announced at Bitcointalk.org at the time and the question is can Bitcoin Gold be a good virtual currency for the future. This is a common question we often hear and again it all depends on the investors who want to invest in it. and now of course Bitcoin Gold has provided the code on Github for review and has multiple social media accounts for Twitter, Facebook and Slack channels this might be good news for Bitcoin Gold users.

Many BTC alternatives are coming up. Each with different improved specifications. Check out BTCx, it is basically BTC on the ETH platform so with far better transaction fees and speed

I think it'll remain $200-$300 range for this month and there is a good chance to $400 in early 2018.
the price of bitcoin gold is possible to increase like bitcoin cash because bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold is the same from the hardfork bitcoin. I hope the price will increase although i know it can not easy. The price of BTG still need many time to grow up. I think not now the price will grow up. But i believe next year the price must be grow up. Because now BTG have not a good system and still need many improvements to the system before the price will up. Me too hope btg will up soon. I am so happy saw the price of btg is up yesterday but after that thw price go down again. I hope in the end of this year the price can up because i hold 18 BTG |

I'm not wasting my time mate, please allow me to explain why as it is in the interest of all of us. My posts are for people with lesser knowledge to avoid them getting fooled by actual implementation of BTG. I.e.: save your flat for when BTG will be updated (read below). And my post are for BTG crew as well: they have still time to make BTG a community driven and meaningful crypto. I'm showing them that the actual route is not appealing to the investors. I warned them about that and other things well in advance of November the 12th on their Slack channel, as a day-1 supporter of this crypto . Another stream of forks is coming which will compete with BTG: i.e. Bitcoin Silver and Bitcoin Uranium. More than any other consideration, it is worth noting that in the 24hrs Volume ranking according Coinmarketcap, BTG is 15th at writing time with $212.815.000. Well behind ZCash ($305.346.000) but also QTum ($362.217.000) Cardano ($401.779.000) Stellar ($426.203.000) and EOS ($753.837.000). Bithumb holds a 48.41% share with the mere BTG/KRW trading pair. Message is adamantine: BTG folks did not achieve a great success in spreading the BTG word around the world. Volume Geolocation of BTG is limited. Mining wise: MonaCoin (Lyra2REv2) for an 1080Ti rig (as mine) gives you noticeable more than BTG. There is also another Equihash crypto and other algos more rewarding. BTG comes 6th. Besides that, the best Equihash miner is closed source and the other ones are NOT.... |

True on that saw on marketcap that there are planning several more from diamond to red but this will all shadow then. Not gonna be good at this point and many will think that this is just another big one scam coin or shit coin. Maybe this and many other bitcoin fork coin will come to life after some time like cash was. Not gonna say this will happen to this one but maybe it will follow same path. |

If you had BTC in the exchanges the chances are that you will not receive any BTG. Only those exchanges that mentioned they would support it would be able to provide you with BTG. Its best to store BTC in your own wallet (software or hardware), if you wish to gain from some of the forks. |

A bit redundant to say "we have high hopes for the future", of course you have high hopes for anything you have an interest or stake in. And that is the huge difference between all these Bitcoin forks and Bitcoin. Bitcoin will never have someone appearing on Yahoo finance and talking up the network. This is the kind of decentralization Bitcoin Gold is supposedly after? I would think doing road trips to remote corners of the world and promoting the original ideals is what they should be doing, since that is their goal. Oh wait, maybe they can only go to places where people actually own computers. #NoCPUNoVote? |
