I was waiting this mining tool that should be released today for phone.. just to give a try, as i don't think it will be useful at all. But in fact when i try to access  my account in the tablet or the phone.. i can only see a black screen. In my laptop i can really access my account, but there is no mining tool or news about anything for the phone..
electroneum sucks... i feel simply scammed... hope it hits an exchange soon to dump all my ETN tokens.

it seems that after deleting and reinstalling Electroneum app in tablet/phone, it works again.. but there is no mining avaliable for "security reasons"... wtf?¿?¿
if you still had doubts about how stupid was trying to mine with a phone.. now there aren't anymore.. this is an epic fail project or just a great professional scam

Not yet. The blockchain just went live some 8 hours ago. They are waiting for exchanges' approval.

Started mining ETN already.

I've never mined before and don't have a high end computer but it was really easy to set up.
I just downloaded the windows newbie one.
You put in the public ETN address from the offline wallet you can get if you registered.
I hit start mining and Voila!

In other news, it looks like there was an attack to hack accounts so the ETN team is busy securing things and then will release the mobile miner and wallets.  So just be patient and we can move our ETN to the wallets when they go live.

As far as exchanges go, they are waiting approval from 9 different exchanges.
Since the blockchain just barely went live it might take awhile before they get listed.

How many launches have you been on where you were being protected by the devs from a high profile hack where the hackers are using a botnet against the coin, and they STILL LAUNCHED and there were no transactions working yet??

If we didnt have such high profile devs that are experts in security and pretty damn clever, you wouldnt see this type of success combined with none of your coins getting stolen.

This reason this happened, is with 370,000 registered users on the website, those with weak passwords, which numbered in the thousands, got hacked. The devs found out and shut down the transactions so that those people wouldnt lose their coins.

Everything will be like you are used to seeing it, as soon as everything is safe.

The devs were not about to let thousands of people lose their coins to hackers just because their passwords didnt have uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters; those werent hacked.

Given the supply. I think this will crash within the next few days due to semi-fail launching. After that and when explodes to the general public, a decent speculation will be about $1 within the next 6 months. But I still believe it will crash on launch, specially when it goes below $0.01

You havent seen many launches with this many users.

Why? Because it never happens. This is the most ever.

Also, how many coins have you seen hit with a botnet at launch? Everyone I seen had to relaunch, or they failed and didnt relaunch.

I like Electroneum, but this launch was very meh.
Logged on to their site this morning on my phone and couldn't find a single thing about a confirmed exhange listing. I was under the impression they'd be listed today. From their twitter just recently:

Quite big news! Just officially applied to Cryptopia for our first exchange listing - it's cost over $25,000 USD to apply, fingers crossed!

Yeah ok...there's a dozen teeny-tiny ICOs that raise much smaller amounts that get their cryptopia listing right away without bringing up how expensive it it. ETN raised $40 million.

The mining software - the whole thing of having to copy 3 lines of wallet address confused a lot of people.
The mining software is buggy and the mobile isn't even live yet.

I wish them all the best (I'm holding) but this launch was a bit meh after all the hype.

Guys, what are your prediction on the price of electroneum? Since this is the day of of their deployment of mining platform. Very lot of problems now, specially in their mobile applications, still can't mine and those referral bonuses still not done distributed.

Has the Electroneum entered any stock market? Or am I not found? I looked at Coinmarketcap and I did not see it there. Is not it still open to the commercial?

Oh pleaaaase, just relax and give them some time. I understand that in order to do a proper launch, features like mobile mining or the online wallet are postponed. I'd much rather wait for mobile mining a couple of days than lose all my tokens because they rushed the release. This is my first time in this type of ICO and cryptocurrency launch, and I already got the feeling that a lot of people simply don't grasp the whole concept and think they will be rich overnight.

The developer plans to list on several exchanges just need to be patient for it, however for bug problems in software I'm disappointed with this and I think this is not good because the community is very enthusiastic with this project
