There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Due to recent changes in regulations regarding ICOs and massive de-listings of security-alike tokens from crypto exchanges, the Opporty team has decided to eliminate “scheduled buybacks from the community” from our planned strategy.

Our team will not offer scheduled buybacks, as they may put our token at risk of being regarded as a security. We have been consulting with our lawyers and legal advisors about the best structure for our token sale, and the overall economics of our project.

We are making strategic changes with the best interests of our token holders in mind, to ensure that the status of our token will be suitable for any crypto exchange. Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support!

However we undertand the cases which we were planing to resolve by using buybacks and we will find another even better solution to those cases.

What is Escrow-judge?

BuyingFast, thank you for the question!

Escrow judges is a group of experts who will be chosen by the community. This group will monitor the implementation of contracts. Only Escrow judge will be given the opportunity to accept or reject the correct execution of the contract.
Different Escrow judgement boards will monitor different chapters on the platform, so for example experts in Accounting will judge Accounting cases, experts in Logistics will judge cases in Logistics Chapter and so on.
Every judge will have a stake that will be put at risk to guarantee fair decisions on cases.

Please feel free to ask more questions!

Thanks for the fast answer. I also have the standard questions: How would someone use your tokens? Why are they the preferred mechanism instead of ETH? Why should investors buy your tokens?

BuyingFast, amazing questions, thank you!

How would someone use your tokens?
Primary usage for Opporty tokens is for services provided on the marketplace, so you always can be sure that you can spend OPP tokens on something useful. Secondly, tokens can be used by service providers for buying ads and additional services on the platform. Thirdly, tokens will be needed for staking to become an Escrow Judge or Chapter Moderator.

Why are they the preferred mechanism instead of ETH?
With our own tokens we have more flexibility, as well we have plans to establish our own Blockchain (or fork of existing one) to make commission for Judges and Moderators executed automatically as well as putting Users' reputation on Blockchain as well

Why should investors buy your tokens?
We have 100% utility token, that means with growth of the platform demand on the token will grow as well. We have already built the MVP with real users, so our main ICO goal is to collect enough funds to grow platform to the next level

I hope we answered your questions, please feel free to ask more!

You'll be using smart contracts for everything, or are there centralized elements as well?

Who from the team is taking care of this BitcoinTalk thread?

For this specific ANN thread I am taking care of OP updates, however 'opporty' and 'SergeyG' are both part of the official development team and will answer all the questions.

As for the bounty campaign I am the manager Smiley

Feel free to post any questions you may have about this project and I am sure devs will answer it as soon as they can.
