I am in since December last year. Every penny that I invested in crypto I treat as "lost money" until the time I cash out. With that in mind, I am much less emotional about any win or loss I am registering on my portfolio.

So far (for me personally), it was much better to NOT day trade and rather invest medium sized bags in smaller projects and wait for them to increase an x amount until I trade them again or deciding to hold longer. With this strategy I don't need to constanly refresh Blockfolio and Coinigy .

And yes, I totally agree with OP. You need to do the research on your own and it is VERY time consuming! But it is a lot of fun and you learn a ton about blockchain technology. Every now and then you also read ridiculous white papers that make you giggle

Community is the single most important feature. Technology can be fixed, roadmaps can be updated, innovations can be dreamed, but this is all done by people. A good community is filled with people who dont bail on the price drops, but actively buy more coins. Im since more than 20 years in business and over this time I passed many ups and downs in various branches. It does not mater in which branch you try to make a profit, but you need to be aware of that get rich fast schemes are mostly scam or will bring a very bitter taste at the end with it.

Do not let yourself be fooled about something to be FREE or promising you will earn in no time xxx of money. This is most likely not going to happen! And Even if it does in the one or other case, I saw some people getting rich fast and ending up with big depth, because none of them had experience with the problems coming up with getting rich quick and what it actually means to make a lot of money in short time and how it will influence the life as you knew it.

I think it's a quick way to get rich through crypto currencies, not because we have large capital. Large capital is not the main factor to become rich in crypto currencies. In my view, the way to get rich quickly is to have a smart playing strategy and have good risk management. No matter how much our capital when we do not have the knowledge and strategy to play smart then we will only lose because we will only carry the ambition.
