have been following this all morning with our team.. we were fans of what they wanted to do since we're also building something to power the future of decentralized marketplaces.

really sorry for anyone who took a loss here

this probably won't make you whole again right away.. but it's a start. I hope it's helpful in some way!

https://medium.com/@PayWithInk/ink-airdrop-for-confido-token-holders-54340af8d163

It's an airdrop/swap of our token if you held CFD earlier today. I know trust is low right now so don't worry.. you don't need to do anything Smiley will just deposit into your Ethereum address when we launch. We have a similar long term vision, so at least you can continue betting on that.. thanks!

Thank you. Confido was the first ICO (didn't participate, bought later on EtherDelta) I was impressed by and decided to invest. Before it I was avoiding ICOs thinking that most of them were pure scam. Well...  Cheesy

Reading your whitepaper now. Recovering my faith  Smiley

Well, that's why everybody tell that the biggest mass of ICO is spam. Now spammers use famous names and good design and they don't spare tospend money for good organization, cause of in the final they stay in plus. It is sad that such well known manager as aTriz was hooked on their scam campaign.
How it is going, btw, did they find them?

Guys stop investing in those new ICO projects .

After it's up to you, but there is plenty of veteran well established projects which will stay and proved over time who they are . I'd suggest to look for projects at least prior to April's pump and then invest only a part that you can afford to loose. After all if the altcoin market is to rise , first will go up those trustful old project especially the ones from the top 100 .

Regarding honest ICOs: This is a huge risk to put your money is something that is said to work one day. Why they don't invest theirs own money , make it work  a bit and then via ICO refinance the remaining part ? Because they have no clue about the business , if it will work or not and prefer not to invest anything in it but ask you to do so, You to invest in some ideas that are just theory , maybe like 9/10 will fail.

Scam project : there is no how you can really identify all scam project. Some are masters in that and may even run the project for a year to show they were of  good faith but in reality will do pumps dumps and similar to take your money. Just don't invest in new projects.

Thank you! I was a fan of what they were doing.. we truly believe in decentralized marketplaces and a system with escrow and mediation (without a centralized party) is key. We are building this now and it will be usable on our own marketplace, Listia + others like craigslist and FB very soon Smiley  I appreciate the kind words!

From the beginning I was suspicious of this project, I participated in the bounty campaign. after the ICO is complete and the distribution of tokens for the participants is only partially done and many do not get paid from confido. I also asked aTriz as a bounty manager, but aTriz suggested contacting the developers, here Chris and Joost I know. I contacted Chris and he asked me to send a message to Joost for a bounty payment, but after a few days no reply, Joost's telegram was removed...

Another scam project. I see that they only raised around 300k. Live and learn, that's one of the things about Crypto, you learn strong lessons. Were there warning signs that others were warning about during the ico?

Damn - glad I sold for 14.5x...

But you sold it to someone else who lost his or her money. Not something to be glad about.

You need to learn compassion.

He or she should not be happy. The only thing they should feel happy is that at least that 14.5x didn't go to the scammers. But even so, they shouldn't used that idea as an excuse to feel proud of it.

That was a sign if this project is scam.

This is also make me shocked, never thought this project turned into scam project. (They even hired Atriz became the manager and make fool of all people, including their own investors).

Compassion? In stock market no one will ever have compassion for anyone, the same counts for cryptomarket...

Highest priority is whatever you will invest money into is DD (due dilignece) or how cryptoinvestors will ridiculously call it #DYOR.... Compassion doesn't apply that is your own fault. You could see that beforehand therefore I don't hold shitcoins like this one.
They used tokenlot so it was a safe bet it hits EtherDelta to flip it.

I am glad I could flip it for my 14.5x instead of 3x, that is what I actually meant.

Even I was shocked with the way it has done to the people. Very insane because never expected that it will happen like this because many people trust the team and invested more than nearly 4 millions into it. Very bad to crypto world.

Guys don't buy into scammy ICO's. Most of them are get rich and get out quickly schemes. You have to invest in old and cheap projects. There's many projects out there currently really undervalued. Some of them are valued less than one satoshi. They are working hard and has real teams behind it. Why their price is not skyrocketing is because of they are really working hard and don't have enough time for lurking around social medias. You have to learn and read about those altcoins. I have my own token too but I won't sell it. Because it has no value or usage. I'm just giving it away lol.

Hi,

I already posted this in the thread and you can go back to check on the original message. The first and foremost will be checking the profile pics and doing a reverse image search through google or any other software and checking out their linkedin profiles. If their linkedin profiles have less than 300 connections, they are more or less less trustworthy than others. If they have mentioned any popular advisors, it is better to ask those advisors if they really are working with them.

Everyone can mention Vitalik as their advisor but its not necessary he works with them. Regarding viability of the product, it is better to ask in popular groupd of fb and twitter since technical people are able to decipher about whether it can be done or is it just a beautiful dream.

Telegram moderators should be asked if they have met the founders personally or are they doing this just cause of bounty.  Try to engage any of the founding team members through skype so there faces can be seen and can act as a proof if in case they do try to run out. Any founder which says i dont have time for interviews or skype chat even with the youtube founders should come up as a scam since if one is raising money through ico they need to give time to each and every investor.
