Op you should ask our fellow Filipino member in our own section Philippines some might find your post irrelevant to the subject you indicated php means philippines pesos, a lot of members here are using usd or larkham I don't know other currencies, however it is good to make a new thread in our section.

Things will get worse before they get better. This is a marathon, not a sprint. I believe we will see BTC below $3000 by the end of the year, but after that it will rebound and make new ATHs.

We should not panic if we see that the price of the bitcoin is going down. For me it is normal that the price is going down. I am sure that in the next day the price of the bitcoin will rise up again.

Keep buying on lowest lows. And hold for long. This is the bitcoin winning scheme that nobodys reveals.
Buy and hold forget your coins in your ledger nano then you will be happy after few years Smiley

No worries at all, you just need to be relax and don't look much on the charts. Learned to control your emotions because it will drag you down more. Take a break and make yourself out of bitcoin even just a day. Be someone you're before without bitcoin. Even it is decreasing now the possibility to recover is high and doesn't need to be panic at this time.

First and foremost:

Check the history of the btc price. It will tell you a lot. You will see similar dips.

This is one of the best advises in this thread. Don't worry, OP, don't panic, don't sell your coins now when the price is low. If you have spare money you can buy some more even, because now is a good time to buy if you are thinking long term. We can't say whether Bitcoin's price will be lower or higher in few days, but we can be pretty sure that in few years it will be above $7,000 and probably closer to $10,000.

I think you should search about the demand and supply rule ^ anyways the value is dropping because there is not much demand right now..also you can't expect market to be stable ...its anyways a non equilibrium state... And partially thats the reason why people make money out of it... You should hold on.... Ur Bitcoins until and unless u live in china...

Seems you are a Filipino since you are talking about PHP (PESO) and i do assume that you are using coins.ph wallet and now you are asking if its time to convert to php? I would say it would depend on your need of money. If you are in a rush and do have some priority then cash out it and dont bother on the current price but if you do have still money to spend on better to wait on bitcoins price to recover up and dont tend to convert knowing that spreads on coins.ph is horrible.

Welcome to bitcoin! For the new among us, this is what a free market looks like and we may see a 50% reduction in valuation before it's over. There are no controls on the market and if people panic or just decide to divest then it will be so. Enjoy the ride.

I have a feeling that panic selling will follow. I don't agree with such approach but it seems like many bitcoiners are prone to such behaviour and on the first sign of price dropp they start to sell their coins. This can have just the opposite effect. But many others see the price dumps as the opportunity to get more bitcoins. After rain, there will always come the sun.

I can't believe people are making threads about this.

As long as bitcoins has excisted, prices have gone up and down. It's in the nature of bitcoin. If supply is larger then demand, then the price will drop until demand is larger then supply, when the price will rise again.

You shouldn't convert you bitcoin. Just hold on, and wait until the price will rise again (which will happen).

But people ike to have fundamentals in their analysis in order to judge what's going on with the price, and the fundamentals right now are the same as they were in $4900. The only thing that has changed in my book, is that this JP Morgan jackass said that Bitcoin is a fraud. Im not sure if this is what caused the dip or not, but judging by how many idiots are involved into Bitcoin and how easy they panic sell, I wouldn't be surprised that a single bankster has crashed the market.

This JP Morgan jackass is quite a smart guy, probably he just wanted to buy some bitcoins and wanted to get a better price  Wink

this isn't new. bitcoin was popular since backthen because of it's volatility. it's a decentralized currency that's why bitcoin price going up and down. if you're afraid on losing money because of the continues decrease of bitcoin sell it out and wait till bitcoin pump its price again and you will regret that moment.

It ia all because of China prohibiting bitcoin.  Many chinese of course sell their bitcoins.  I just have read here also that because the ceo of jp morgan announced that bitcoin is a fraud.  So maybe those were the reason.  All I can say is to just hold your bitcoin.  But if you want then you convert it.  I do not want to sell my bitcoins because I still believe that its price will goes up again.

In this year 2017 JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon called bitcoin as fraud and China bans ICOs and other Crypto exchanger, bitcoin price drop from 4900 to 2900 USD. In 2014 Warren Bufett called bitcoin as mirage and the downfall of silkroad and mtgox exchange bitcoin price drop from 1500 to 800 USd. As we track the history of bitcoin price chart, cycles do exist but still it always recover and continue to soar high. if you think that bitcoin is going down, there's no need to worry, we just have to get used to it, be optimistic all the time.

Yeah, this will only be temporary. Bitcoin has been successful for years. All I know is that it has it price cycles, sometimes it would go high, sometimes low. The market price of the bitcoin is decreasing as a result for bitcoin being banned in China but we should not panic. This happens every time, do not let your emotions get you and control you to avoid making unnecessary decisions that will only make you suffer more.
