How to set up a masternode tutorial

WELCOME TO Brazilman37BTC's MASTERNODE SETUP GUIDE!

Hi,
welcome. I have found Masternode ownership to be a very rewarding experience, teaching me about computers and different operating systems, as well as making me extra money that would just be sitting in my wallet anyway!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN, YOU WILL NEED:

- 250,000 Skull (SK21)
- The latest Skull (SK21) wallet, which can always be found here: https://goo.gl/HH3oZE
- wallet must be installed and synced and coin must be available for use. (not pending)
- An ability to follow instructions to the letter.
- If you dont have a clue as to how to modify or create a .conf file? Well, my friend your in the wrong place. This tutorial is for informational purposes only.
- If you follow instructions you will have a succesfully created masternode.
- Good luck and have a nice day!!!

LET'S GET STARTED!

First, you will need to make sure your wallet is backed up and unlocked to support the Masternode setup.

Please bear in mind the following safety tips:

- Always do a backup of your WALLET.DAT if you have Skull (SK21) on your computer.
- Think twice before deleting or overwriting anything, as there is no way back...Post here for help.
- Never copy WALLET.DAT when your wallet is running! Please use the BACKUP WALLET command from within your wallet instead.



Ok now your ready to get down to business......

Next step is to go to the tools tab in upper left corner, then once that window pops down look for debug console. That will open a second window, it is your debug window where you can enter commands for your wallet.
- In the debug window on the command line you will want to type this command  "masternode genkey" without the quotes of course. Done so far? Very good, now the next step is to enter another command in the same line, dont worry you will have use for the info that  the last command produced.



- Ok next step: in the command line type the following "getaccountaddress MyMasternode" again without quotes. that produces another result in the window. Next step: you want to close out the debug window for now.



- Now, you have the main wallet window, click the send tab to go to the area to send coins. Next: send exactly 250,000 Skull (SK21) coins the address you generated in the debug window (that part is really not tough, just double click to highlight then copy and paste that to the send address in the send tab.
- Next step: reopen the debug window again. In the command line enter the following command "masternode outputs" and then you will want to leave that open for now.



- Next step: you should know how to find the masternode.conf file thats been included with this coins setup files. As implied ealier in this tutorial, if you dont have a clue as to how you can find that file? Maybe you shouldnt be doing this. If in doubt stop right here and open another browser window do some reasearch on how to do that.



- Next step: your going to want to right click that file and edit it. that will open the notepad and allow you to start editing the file.
- Next step: ok you will see the first couple lines are only for instructional use. the last line is what you want to use. You need to replace that ip address with your own (you should know how to do this already) if not there is info in forums showing how.
- Next step: ok so basically all you replace is the  alias for example i named my masternode mn1 , then replace ip and leave the :25070, then you replace the next set of chars (883uXHwWXgkb7zvSF1SzdKDgtahXbSpGSgiMqqZr57MMDS61X1u) with the masternodeprivkey you generated in the debug window. and please indlude the spaces as seen in example or will not work.
- Next step: next you replace the next set of chars (cb94f8538298dfc6503c3241933da301be8ebeb8969e6afb331d47b7901a24b9) with the collateral_output_txid
- Next step: you have the final value which in example is 0 and you will replace as same.
- Next step: now you close the debug window.
- Next step: backup the wallet.dat file
- Next step: shut down the wallet and restart it.
- Next step: it may give you the message of block error, then it may also ask if you would like to reload the block info or smoething like that. click yes and it will be fast.
- Next step: once youve done that open the masternode window and you should see your newly created masternode. If you see it and see it says missing? Don't worry just click at lower left bottom start masternode. Then after a minute you can look up and see the statuus of the masternode is now enabled.

or recursively seach replace in command line on qt folder
should skull-cli and skull-tx build
./autogen.sh ./configure make
same dependences as bitcoin
the node builds fine

if not works try to run it with sudo
do sudo make install node builds fine on vps
run autogen again and configure with incompatible bdb and make install
sudo mv test_vsync test_skull
autogen configure make
In src/test
